Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Yogi Brian.
Find your comfortable spot and just allow the eyes to close.
Taking an inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Open the mouth,
Sigh it out.
Again,
Inhale deeply through the nose.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Just your natural breath here in and out.
Just give yourself permission to relax.
Give yourself permission for this time right now.
Give yourself permission for you.
Feel the body starting to relax.
Feel the body starting to settle.
Just allowing any worries,
Any frustrations,
Any anxiety,
Anything's heavy on your mind.
Just release it.
Just surrender.
Just give yourself this time to breathe.
Nothing to do,
Nothing to control.
Wiping clear any to do list you have for your day.
Just allow yourself to breathe.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
Feel that wave of relaxation throughout the body.
Each breath you take you relax even more and more.
Each breath you take you sink deeper and deeper into a state of surrender.
Taking a scan of the body and just checking in with yourself,
Asking yourself,
How am I feeling?
Just allowing the answer to come.
Whole body starting to relax now.
Noticing the mind smoothing out,
The thoughts smoothing out.
Just allow the thoughts to be.
Nothing to do or control with the thoughts.
Just allow them to be ebbs and flows.
Feeling relaxed here in your space and feeling safe.
Eyelids relax.
Eyelids feel so heavy.
Try and open the eyelids but they're just so heavy and so relaxed.
It's hard to open your eyelids.
Try it out.
Try to open your eyelids.
And you know they're so relaxed.
The body is so relaxed here in your space.
Noticing the eyelids relaxed.
Starting to visualize a tree.
Visualize the biggest tree.
It could be a real tree.
Or it can be a make believe tree.
I want you to see this tree.
Look at this tree and notice this tree.
Notice the height of this tree.
And the width.
The color of the flowers.
It could be any color,
Any tree.
Just feel the smells.
Reaching out and touching the tree if you like.
Feel in this connection with this tree.
You're the first person to discover this tree.
It's your tree.
Maybe give it a name.
Start to visualize the massive root system on this tree into the ground.
Taking your mind along the roots deep into the ground.
Just take your mind deep down in each and every root.
Feel this unconditional love,
This connection,
This groundedness.
Feeling a sense of comfort,
Sense of being home.
Visualizing the roots deep into the ground.
And three,
Two,
One,
Coming back up to the surface.
Ground level.
Looking at your tree here.
Start to notice how you got to this tree.
Where is this tree?
Finding the location of the tree,
Knowing you can always come back to the space to this groundedness.
To this tree,
Your tree.
Knowing you can always come back here to connect to fill this grounded energy to feel rooted.
Whenever you're ready,
Slowly come back to your breath.
Come back to your body.
Saying farewell to your tree for now.
But knowing you can always come back to your own personal tree to fill this grounding energy.
Taking an inhale deeply through the nose.
Exhale,
Open the mouth,
Sigh it out.
One more time.
Inhale deeply through the nose.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Coming back to the body.
So take some wiggles with the fingers,
Wiggles with the toes.
Maybe circles with the hands,
Head rock side to side.
Shaking out the shoulders a little bit.
And then make your way to an easy seat whenever you're ready.
You might already be there.
Easy seat,
Legs crossed,
Spine straight,
Chin parallel to the mat,
The floor.
Bring the hands to heart center.
So hands to heart center,
Eyes are closed.
And just take three breaths for you,
Three grounding breaths here.
I am grounded.
I am whole.
I am enough.
