Please note: meditations with Priyanka are traditional, slow and embrace silence. There is no music and the silence in between is used to cultivate and imbibe the wisdom from the meditation. When we find that we are unable to care about someone who is close to us. We can take a moment to examine why that situation is arising and explore what is blocking us. And whilst its good to accept the blockage, judgment or resistance, its equally important to navigate it so that we can find a little more internal peace. This will then allow us to be more pleasant in our interactions.

Namaste.

Once you have found yourself in a comfortable position,

I invite you to settle into your body and ask yourself,

Is there any part of my body or mine that might want to let go at this point in time or right now?

Feel your breath and feel yourself in this moment.

Think of the people in your life and bring to mind someone who really matters to you,

Someone who's having a tough time,

Where you know or are aware but are just not feeling touched over their struggle.

As you bring this person to mind,

Bring them closer to your heart.

Notice the quality of caring.

Is it on a head level or a heart level?

And please notice without judgment for yourself.

Notice how you feel towards this person,

Towards the issue that they are going through.

Do you feel judgment towards them?

Maybe how they are handling their situation,

Struggle or life?

Notice what might be blocking your ability to feel for them.

You may have been preoccupied and find it hard to feel for them,

Or you may find that you don't feel touched over the issue.

Whatever the reason,

Maybe feel into it,

Acknowledge it,

And perhaps contemplate it for a bit.

I'd like to now invite you to visualize into the future when you are at the end of your life,

Looking back,

What will matter?

Or perhaps if you are at the end of your life,

How you related to this person,

How you allowed yourself to care and nourish this relationship.

Please let yourself connect with yourself,

Connect to wanting to care about them,

And know that your sincere intention is to open your heart and care.

If you find it easier,

I invite you to whisper their name and say,

It's my intention to care about you.
