A guided grounding practice to anchor your awareness in the earth - feeling the stability, connection, and support of the earth under your feet and remembering that you are not alone. A great practice to use whenever you feel unsteady, uncertain, anxious, and/or disconnected to help ground your energy.

Do you ever feel like your day is spiraling out of your control?

Things are happening so fast.

Overwhelm.

Things you didn't plan for.

Maybe things you did plan for that have gone differently than they have.

Maybe this kind of day just feels like you can't wait to get to the end of it.

But I want you to take a moment and just stop.

Just a moment.

Take a moment to stand strong wherever you are.

Filling the ground beneath your feet.

Spread your toes as wide as you can in your shoes,

If you can.

Feel the weight of your bones begin to settle.

And feel that stability beneath you.

The earth.

Its gravitational pull.

Its strong,

Supportive energy.

And even if you're seated,

Maybe noticing your feet on the ground.

Maybe your seat on a support.

Feel that support and that stability.

Feel it rising up.

Through your feet.

Up into your lower legs.

Your upper legs.

Your thighs and hips.

Belly and back.

Chest and upper back.

Rising up through your shoulders.

Strength,

Support and stability.

Rising down through your upper arms.

And your lower arms.

Your hands and fingers.

Feel that earth energy rising up through your neck.

The back of your head and sides of your head.

Stability flowing through your face.

That grounding earth energy.

Softening the tension in your forehead,

In your eyes,

In your mouth,

In your jaw.

Feel as if your feet are rooting down into the earth.

And as you root down,

You pull up that earth energy.

Pulling it up into your body.

Strong and stable and supportive.

Taking a big,

Deep inhale.

Exhaling it all out with a sigh.

Carry that sense of support and stability with you through the rest of your day.

And if you need it again,

Stop for just a moment or two and feel your feet on the ground.

Remember that sense of rooting down.

Remember that sense of the earth rising up through your body.

Making you feel more grounded,

Supported,

And stable.

You are strong enough to get through this day.

The earth is here to help you in any way it can.
