Welcome to this meditation for starting your day with purpose.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either lying down or sitting in a chair.
Allow yourself to settle into this space and close your eyes.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Take a slow inhale in through the nose,
Exhaling completely through your nose.
Continuing this full deep breath,
Notice how your mind begins to slow down,
Focusing on this present moment.
Now I'd like you to think of three goals for your day ahead.
These goals can be big or small.
They can be related in some way or completely unique.
Take these next few moments to form these goals.
And with your goals in mind,
Visualize yourself accomplishing each one of your intentions.
Connect with how it feels to accomplish your goal.
Thinking about what you would hear,
See,
And do if you were to accomplish your goals.
Take another deep breath in through the nose.
With an open mouth,
Exhale,
Let it all go.
The challenges of yesterday are now behind you.
Look forward to your new day with purpose.
