Hello,
And welcome to this short clearing meditation.
My name is Sydney and today I'll be guiding you into some releasing breath work.
So to get started here,
Make yourself comfortable.
Maybe that's sitting down,
Maybe that's laying down.
Whatever it is,
Choose a posture that you feel comfortable to hold for a few moments.
Oftentimes it goes against our natural desires to completely slow down.
So if you find yourself in this situation,
Finding it difficult to quiet the mind,
Quiet the body,
That's okay.
Just remember that with practice,
Each moment,
Each breath will become easier.
So settling into your most comfortable shape.
And then as a sign of trust,
Allow your eyes to softly close.
Taking this opportunity to close out the visual sensations around you.
Sometimes this helps us tune in to ourselves.
Perhaps you're noticing some sensation present in the body.
Maybe that's just the settled feeling of being in this space.
And just pausing just to be here.
And on your next exhale,
See if you can release all of that stale energy,
All of that stale breath in the body.
Just letting it all go.
And taking your next big inhale through the nose,
Filling back up with new energy and new breath.
And again,
Once you're full,
Completely exhaling,
Letting everything go.
Not worrying about whether it's through your nose or mouth,
Just choosing one that feels comfortable.
Once everything has been released,
Take that next big breath of air in slowly,
Taking up space,
Taking in energy.
And again,
Releasing exhale,
Letting go of everything.
Continuing these full deep breaths,
Not forcing anything,
Just enjoying the rate and depth of your breath today.
Perhaps noticing the quality and energy of your breath for the first time today.
One more just like that.
Taking as much time in this space as you'd like.
And whenever you feel ready to come back into your day,
Simply flutter the eyes open.
Perhaps pausing,
Noticing a different light,
Maybe a different world around you now.
And remembering that this peace,
This stillness is always available to you if only a few breaths away.
Thank you so much for taking this time with me today.
I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day.
