Welcome to your meditation for releasing trapped emotions.

Settle into a space where you feel comfortable and close your eyes.

As we move from moment to moment and day to day in our lives,

It is not uncommon to feel weighed down by heavy emotions.

Sadness,

Fear,

Grief,

Guilt,

Or anger can overwhelm our minds and bodies.

So often we try to conquer or ignore these pains in our hearts and with time these pains may begin to dull,

But so do our emotions of love,

Excitement,

Curiosity,

And joy.

Our choice to dull our emotions was one made for survival,

But ultimately has left us disconnected from our innate wisdom and intuition.

If you feel like you've been floating adrift without direction or compass,

Rest assured that you have arrived in this most perfect place.

And trust that deep within you there is direction and strength that has led you here.

Honor your body for bringing you here.

Soften your grip of your hands that desires nothing more than to keep everything together.

Breathe space into the knots that bind within your belly.

Feel your heart swell with compassion for this body that does everything it can to protect you from these pains.

Rather than fight or hide or curse these emotions,

Welcome the wisdom and healing that can come only from surrender.

You are safe here.

You are connected here.

You are free to release these pains for the simple reason that they have become too heavy to bear.

And in this new stillness,

Make a commitment to your heart to always come back to feeling and releasing emotion.

Now take a deep breath in through the nose.

Feel slowly release this breath.

Release.

Again,

Breathe in.

Feel.

Let it all go.

Release.

And take as much time as you need coming back to feeling and releasing.

That was exactly what I needed. I was holding onto something, feeling very tense, your calm voice & choice of words allowed me to let go & shed some tears. A big weight is off my body now. Thankyou ❤️
