In this guided meditation,
We'll slowly go through all the colours of the rainbow.
Allow each relax by meditating on the colours and then choosing what colour works for you,
What colour will help you heal emotionally,
Physically,
Mentally.
So make yourself comfortable,
Seated,
Lying down and just sense how your body and mind feel here and now.
Without changing or trying to control anything,
Just go inward and see how you feel.
Start to relax,
Focus on your breath,
Slow long deep inhalations,
Slower,
Longer,
Even deeper exhalations.
Allow the relaxation to just happen.
Soften into your mind.
Visualise red,
All the shades of red.
Either a solid colour,
Maybe a fire engine red.
Visualise a red landscape.
Feel the different tones of red.
A warming red sunset.
Red lipstick.
Sense and feel red.
Let the colour red flow into the colour orange.
Infinite shades of orange.
Flowers.
Carrots.
Orange sunset.
Feel the colour orange.
Visualise the colour orange.
The softness of this yogic colour.
Let the colour orange flow into yellow.
Bright,
Strong sunshine,
Yellow.
Lemons.
Flowers,
Yellow flowers.
A yellow sunset.
It's a calming colour,
Yet vibrant,
Soft.
Feel the colour yellow.
Let it flow into the colour green.
So many different tones and shades of green.
Grass.
Leaves.
The green,
Green grass of home.
Peace.
Feel the different vibrant shades of green.
Bright green,
Softer green colour,
Army green.
Let the green flow into blue.
Feeling blue.
Feel the sky,
A bright blue sky.
The ocean,
The sea,
A tranquil lake,
Blue.
Feel the softness of blue and the vibrant blue.
A darker subdued blue and a bright,
Bright blue.
Feel it.
That blue flow into violet.
The purple.
Again,
Sunset,
Sunrise,
Maybe purple.
Feel it and sense.
Violet,
Purple colour surrounding you.
See the different hues of the colour.
And slowly go through the colours again.
Red.
Orange.
Yellow.
Green.
Blue.
Violet.
Which is your favourite?
Colour is your healing colour.
Just relax and let whatever colour comes to mind,
The most dominant colour for you.
Just sense that colour.
Surrounding you like a protective light shining around your body,
Glowing with a colour.
This colour will protect you and keep you safe right now from any stress,
Any worries.
Feel the colour surrounding you.
Feel the lightness or the darkness of the colour.
Feel it immerse.
Sense it,
You can almost touch the healing colour.
Inhaling in.
Exhaling out.
Letting go of any worries,
Any fears,
Feeling protected,
Safe,
Surrounded by whichever colour you feel.
Feel how this colour is helping to relax you,
Softening into your face.
Feel it flow down through your throat to your chest,
Down through your spine.
Soft,
Healing colour.
This colour is colouring your heart space,
Expanding more and more,
Opening up your heart space.
Feeling calm.
Relaxed.
So relaxed.
Feeling at peace.
This colour is just drawing out any tension,
Darkness in your body,
It's drawing it out.
Lighting up your body,
Shielding and protecting your body,
Your mind.
Feel the worries and stress just leave your body as your protective colour takes over.
Surrounded from head to toe.
Relax,
Basking in your colour.
Feeling safe within.
Internally,
Externally,
Feeling safe,
Feeling shielded,
Protected by your colour.
Befriend your colour.
Feel the sense of relaxation move down from your heart space to your legs,
The back of your body,
All the way down to your toes.
Feel the protective colour surrounding your whole body,
Caressing your physical body.
Keeping you safe.
Helping you to feel strong,
Positive,
Lit up by the colour.
Visualise the sky,
All the clouds in your colour.
Feel the softness of the clouds,
The sky,
The earth.
Sense how you blend in with the sky,
With the clouds.
Sense yourself soaring through the sky,
Filled with prana,
With life,
Energised by the colour.
A healing,
Protective colour.
Helps you feel strong,
Compassionate.
Helps you soften the edges.
Helps you feel humble,
Grateful,
Happy.
And no longer alone.
Enjoy this feeling,
The sensation of feeling safe,
Warm,
Soft,
Surrounded by the colour of your choice.
Calm,
So relaxed,
Even more relaxed.
Peaceful,
Blissful,
At ease.
Bring your awareness back into your physical body.
Start to feel more aware.
Take a deep inhalation,
A nice long exhalation.
Maybe gently move your body,
Your physical body a little bit to start to ease out of the meditation and to wake up very slowly.
Knowing that your colour is always there within you,
It's your inner resource.
You can imagine and sense this colour any time.
You need to feel calm,
Relaxed and safe.
Stretch a little bit if you want.
Move your limbs.
Allow your mind to slowly become more and more awake,
Alert.
But with that sense of deep relaxation within you.
And whenever you feel ready to just gently and very slowly open up your eyes.
