Taking a deep breath and finding somewhere comfortable for our body.
Plant your feet on the floor or feel the stability of your legs and your feet beneath you.
And take a few deeper breaths as we become quiet and still.
Having the external world to fade away a little bit and bringing our attention inwards into our breath and our body.
So we'll use Nadi Shodhana,
Alternate nostril breathing,
To bring us into that place of relaxation and stillness,
Our alpha state.
So we'll place with either hand the first and second finger on our eyebrow centre and we can use our thumb and our ring finger to block our nostrils.
So in the first instance we'll take five breaths through one nostril and then five breaths through the other nostril.
If that's not comfortable for you,
You can just visualise it happening.
And then on the second round we'll actually do the one breath in one nostril and then the other breath in the other nostril.
And as with any breath work we are gentle and we don't force anything.
So I'll count for you.
So please in your own time closing gently one nostril and taking five inhales and five exhales before swapping over.
Okay.
When you're ready and you've inhaled through one nostril we can swap over,
Exhale through the other nostril.
Okay.
And when you've completed this breath,
Let's end the practice and relax,
Lower our arm,
Rest for a moment,
Just noticing how that feels.
And we'll do a second round.
So you might like to use your other hand,
Placing the first finger and the second finger at your eyebrow center.
This time we'll inhale and as we exhale we'll block one nostril.
Inhale through the same one and be ready to swap over and exhale through the other nostril.
So whenever you swap you do the exhale first.
And I'll count once again.
So in your own time.

Let's take our attention within.
To the body and the breath.
Feeling the physical sensations of the body.
Movement of the breath.
There might be some chatter in the mind.
We'll see if we can take the focus away from that to the body and the breath.
If we get drawn back to the mind as soon as we notice we can just bring our attention back into the body.
Feel our feet or our seat and the connection with the floor or seat beneath us.
The air around us.
The air around us.
The physical space that we're in.
Can we get a sense of the energetic space that we're in?
We are seated in a swirl of energy.
There's matter and energy moving all around us.
Near to us,
Near to our skin and as far away as we can imagine.
We're seated in the centre of it.
Part of the universe and inseparable from it.
If we would like to we can invite our guides and guardians to be with us for this practice.
And you may imagine them joining you from the outside but can you imagine them also joining with you from the inside?
Because your spirit guides and guardians are also part of you.
You are a part of them and they are a part of you.
You are one.
Can you feel the divine love,
Divine energy,
Divine wisdom outside of you flowing around you and to you and into you and through you?
That is also inside you.
Can you feel the divine love,
Divine truth and divine power within you?
You and the divine are inseparable.
You can greet the God within.
No striving,
Just feel how it feels for you in this moment and know it is right.
So when you meditate you connect with the God within.
And when you pray you can pray to the divine inside.
Feel it within you.
And visualize it any way that feels right to you.
And we can use a mantra to be with the God inside.
We can take a deep breath and say either silently or out loud.
I am the light,

I am the truth,
I am.

Through us and to others through us.
So let's dream in what we would create consciously.

Taking a moment now with the Divine Light,

To bring to mind and hold in our hands,
Someone who has been a difficult teacher for us.
Someone who has or has in the past taught us hard lessons.
And we're going to offer our loving kindness and gratitude as best we can.
May this person be filled with loving kindness and divine wisdom.
May they be healthy and happy.
May they live,
Be in abundance,
Trust and gratitude.
May they love,
Be loved and have joyful service.
Now we can imagine holding in our hands all of humanity.
Billions of tiny crystals.
Each one unique,
Potentially beautiful.
May all the people of the world be filled with loving kindness and divine wisdom.
May each one of us be healthy and happy.
May we all live in abundance,
Trust and gratitude.
May we all love,
Be loved and have joyful service.
Lastly,
We can hold the Earth in our hands,
In our heart.
The Earth is always radiating light.
Scientists call it infrared,
Here and now I call it love.
Imagine the radiation,
The love pouring from the Earth beneath you to you.
The guy loves you.
And you can focus your love on her.
Creating a beautiful,
Receptive energy flow for the Earth,
Sending love to you.
And you sending your love to the Earth.
And we dream in for the Earth,
The very best of whatever it is she asks for herself.
Releasing that visualisation,
Resting for a moment with the God within.

And we'll slowly reanimate our body and return to the external world.
