Welcome.
This meditation is to set the intention of opening our heart to our experience.
Now that's easy when our experience is pleasant but when our experience is more difficult we tend to resist and close and we don't want to be here but if we can be open we can move through those difficult experiences with more ease and we can learn and evolve and move away from them if that is our intention.
So please make yourself comfortable,
Find somewhere comfortable where you can put your body for a little while and we will bring our attention to our breath and our body.
Take a few deeper breaths as we settle in.
Lengthening our spine as we inhale next and as we exhale relaxing our shoulders,
Our face and relaxing our whole body a little.
And we are going to breathe up and down our channel in long smooth comfortable breaths.
So inhaling up through our spine out the top of our head into the infinite space above us.
Exhaling down through the top of our head our spine out into the earth beneath us and allowing that to continue with a long smooth comfortable breath as we become more settled and still.
You can imagine that breathing exercise waking and energising the chakra as our breath passes through.
Becoming more sensitive to our intention and internal experience.
Little nuances of emotion and thought.
And if your mind wanders it is fine.
Just bring it back to the focus of the breath as we become more still,
More settled.
Slowing right down.
And we will set our intention for this practice and for our experience moving forward.
And yours might be slightly different but I am going to offer that we are fully aware of our experience,
Of our internal experience and that we surrender to each experience as it turns up in the present moment.
But even to go further than that and to say yes to each experience as it occurs to us.
And I want you to notice if you get some internal resistance to that idea.
Maybe a physical reaction,
Putting up your hands in horror.
Just noticing.
And noticing if part of you still wants to set that intention despite your fear.
Setting the intention to have an open heart,
To be completely open to each experience in the present moment.
And we can call in our guides to help us do that.
So if you know the names of your guides please call them in to be with you,
Come close to you.
Or you can ask your faithful guardians to be with you or any benevolent spirit being who chooses to assist you for the benefit of all.
Ask them to come into your space,
Ask them to help you with your intention.
And feel,
Feel their closeness like light shining on you.
Feel their vibration,
Their admiration for your setting this intention.
Just feeling whatever there is to feel.
And so we start to be open to our experience.
And to practice that we will use our breath and we can use the heart mudra if that works for you.
So you can place your first finger at the base of your thumb and bring the tip of your thumb to meet the tip of your second and third finger and you can do that with both hands if that's for you.
Or you can place your hands on your heart or whatever works for you.
And we're going to imagine our breath moving through our heart space.
Imagine the inhalation and exhalation moving through the heart space.
Clearing it,
Energizing it.
Trying out the knowing that this is the way that this is the part of us that can bring together the extremes of our experience.
This is where the duality can come together and be understood and felt and be accepted.
Breathe in the gift of life.
Breathe in the gift of love.
Breathe in the gift of life.
Breathe in the gift of love.
Breathe in the gift of life.
And when we breathe in the gift of life we mean the experience of this moment.
Can we welcome each present moment as a gift?
And maybe we can't and maybe we can be ok with that too.
Can we be ok with the experience of being awkward for that moment and comfortable?
Can we welcome that too?
Breathe in the gift of love.
And we don't mean the love that we have for another human being because usually that's conditional.
We mean the unconditional love and that means sort of broad awareness,
Allowing,
Surrendering,
Saying yes.
Breathe in the gift of life.
Breathe in the gift of love.
And if it works for you we can ask our change or shamuel to help us open our heart further.
And noticing each moment with our full awareness.
Accepting each thought,
Sensation,
Emotion as best we can.
And that is how we embrace each moment.
Let's allow our hands to become comfortable in our lap.
We will take a moment to dream in the experience we choose.
So not the achievement we think will bring us the experience we choose.
Let's jump straight over that and go to the experience.
What is the experience we are aiming for?
What does it feel like?
Who is with us?
Who is not with us?
Noticing.
Where are we?
What do our surroundings look like?
What experiences are we having?
How does it feel to be here?
And having dreamed this in for us,
Let's also dream it in for the rest of humanity.
Choosing for each person the same beautiful experience if that is what they choose.
Choosing for each person.
And knowing that we aren't in this place because we have wounds,
We have conditioning and we are tied to the past in so many ways.
And maybe we can be okay with that too.
That this is also part of our experience.
That these blocks and attachments are part of the experience of taking us to where we want to go.
So even as we intend to cut the cords to the past to remove blocks and old energies,
We can still be okay with their presence.
If that is our experience.
Because we choose to be open.
Knowing that any judgments we have of ourselves and of others is because of our lack of understanding.
The conditions we place on our experience.
The conditions we have absorbed.
Just in this moment can we be okay with it?
Maybe even if we can't we can be okay with that.
Even though that is awkward and uncomfortable and I don't like it.
That's our experience.
And we can also help for this from our guides.
From our spirit helpers.
Because they have a higher understanding.
A broader perspective.
Without the judgments.
So spending the last few moments breathing in the gift of life.
Breathe in the gift of love.
Breathe in the gift of life.
Breathe in the gift of love.
Breathe in the gift of life.
Breathe in the gift of love.

Gently and being open and kind to whatever you see when you open your eyes.
