In this class, we'll be working with the energy of the Fire element, connected with the yang energy of summertime, and the organ systems of the Heart and Small Intestine. Whether or not it's summer outside where you are right now, this is a class for helping you stay internally cool (both physically and emotionally) and encouraging a sense of compassion, care and connection. In this class, we'll be working into the Heart and Small Intestine meridians, emphasising the front and back of the heart space (chest), and exploring the spine-to-hand connections via the shoulders down to the little fingers. We'll also be working with a number of important acupoints on these channels. In the meditation practice, we'll be cooling the fire of the heart, and cultivating a deeper sense of connection by allowing our heart energy field to extend out into the universe. 45 mins of movement, 10 mins of meditation.
