Welcome to Grounded with Wendy.

One of my clients recently shared that her molecules were all mixed up and she felt like her feet weren't underneath her.

And so this offering is specifically for her and for you.

Thank you for meditating.

Come to be rested here.

Settle yourself.

Notice any place in your body that might have tension.

Just give it a little bit of attention and give it some ease.

We don't ask ourselves or force ourselves to sit up straight,

But having an upright posture does help us be more attentive to our body.

Go to your breath now and notice it.

If it feels good,

Maybe lengthen the inhale and lengthen the exhale.

And in your stillness and in the silence,

Really be in this present moment.

Perhaps you feel the clothes against your skin,

Noticing the temperature in the air.

Notice how the breath feels in your nostrils,

Feeling your sit bones on whatever you're sitting on.

And rest here for a moment in this present moment.

Let us remember that when we're feeling all like our molecules are all mixed up and our feet aren't under us,

That the truth is the earth is here.

The sky is here,

Even if it's behind the clouds.

The sun is always rising.

The moon is always rising.

Name something that you know is true.

Maybe start with things that you know are true for yourself.

The color of your eyes.

How tall you are.

If you love animals,

That's your truth.

I love animals.

When we go to our heart and remember some beautiful truths,

When we remember them,

When we name them,

They can bring us stability,

Help us feel grounded.

While the world around us might feel shaky,

You might even call it broken.

Yet we know,

Too,

That what we focus on grows.

And so when things are feeling not balanced,

We go back to our breath,

Our heartbeat,

What we know to be true and consistent.

When we name things that are true,

Like what we love and who we love,

What feels loving,

This can help us reset and refocus and come back home to our body.

Rebalance ourselves,

Reground.

How is your breath feeling now?

As you move throughout the day,

Taking a pause and finding your breath can really help us recalibrate,

Bring our molecules back into order.

Thank you for meditating together.

May you feel more grounded as you approach your day.

Thank you.
