Hi my friends.
Your everyday life is just a dream.
Unavoidable sometimes we have strong emotions.
We might feel angry or feel sad.
Sometimes I feel depressed or feel anxious.
And how can we?
Use mindfulness as a tool to skillfully respond to those emotions.
I remember.
.
.
It was the first date.
Me and my husband.
Wait.
We were on the beach and we were enjoying the ocean.
And we also were listening to the sounds of waves.
And then my husband,
He.
.
.
He said to me,
One of the most memorable teachings from Thich Nhat Hanh That's a master.
For him was the waves are just water.
Yes,
The waves.
Are just water.
Sometimes we Feel our strong emotions like waves.
They just come like a tag-ask.
Or feel so vulnerable.
Or feel so scared.
However,
They are just water.
Which means They are coming,
Going,
Coming,
Going.
It's impermanent.
We try to label them as monsters.
As something very scary,
But.
.
.
They are just water.
They are flowing,
Coming,
Going in a very natural way So firstly,
We need to have this.
Understanding of our strong emotions.
It's okay.
To.
Allow them to account,
To accept them.
And if we look back at our everyday life,
Our coping mechanisms,
Sometimes we just don't want to accept our strong emotions.
We like to.
Fight!
Whale.
Might drink alcohol,
We might use drugs,
We might.
Scroll through the phone.
We might watch TV shows.
We might overeat sweet food.
Because we don't lie.
The strong emotions.
So we try to avoid them,
We try to Lamp ourselves.
However.
.
.
Are they helpful?
Most of times,
They can make our situation worse.
We might have more.
Strong emotions after.
Wait.
We start to drink,
We start to eat.
We start to Check scroll through the full.
We probably might also feel guilty.
We feel bad about ourselves and then we are just in a spiral of back to fulfill these emotions.
So.
.
.
When we put mindfulness into the moment when we have drawing more shapes.
We accept them as they are.
And then We try to go back to our body.
We try to calm the body first.
I remember this year in March,
My mom,
She was diagnosed with liver cancer.
And I received her Her co,
Her radio co,
And.
.
.
The moment one eye.
Knew it and I Failed.
I just lost the ground.
Like very unstable,
I feel very strong feelings inside me.
The emotions Like it.
Like it away.
However,
I know.
The emotions are just water.
And then I accept them as they are.
I went back to my body.
Even it was very difficult to really just feel the body,
I just.
.
.
And back to my breath,
My in-breath,
My out-breath.
I try to slow down.
Also,
I've.
.
.
Try to feel my feet on the ground again.
To feel I was stable that moment.
So,
My friends.
.
.
Don't be scared.
Our strong emotions.
They are.
Just do it.
Water.
They are coming,
Going.
M.
We just need to accept it.
Accept them and then we can go back to the body and re-anchor ourselves.
We find the anchor,
We find the ground.
