This is a patient's practice,
Finding a posture that could support an intention to be present,
To be wakeful,
Allowing the eyes to be gently closed or just lowering the gaze and when you are ready bring the awareness to your anchor,
It can be your breath but if you are not comfortable with breathing just move into any other part of the body like a feet,
Seat,
Hands and really moving close to the sensations of the anchor,
Sensing it,
Savoring it and seeing if it's possible to feel a sense of steadiness and at a certain point I'm inviting you to bring the mind to something that you feel a little bit worried and impatient you really want to find a solution and arrive somewhere,
It can be looking for a job,
Doing a task,
Achieving some goals in life or something else,
Really bring yourself to that situation as best you can but also remembering if you feel overwhelmed you can just return to your anchor,
It's your choice,
Perhaps at a certain point just noticing the emotions that are arising during that situation,
Anxiety,
Worry,
Stress or something else,
Noticing the emotions but without changing or fighting and then moving to some body sensations,
Perhaps you can notice some parts of the body that may react to a situation such as shoulders,
Chest,
Stomach or somewhere else,
A sense of tightness,
Breathing so we are not trying to change anything just noticing,
Allowing them to be here see if it's possible to breathe into the sensations and saying to yourself openly and softly,
Openly and softly and now I'm going to read some words from Tao Teking do you have the patience to wait till your mind settles and the water is clear can you remain on moving till the right action arises by itself?
So when our mud of thoughts,
Emotions,
Sensations are coming perhaps just patiently noticing instead of avoiding or over identifying,
Being patient,
Being with yourself,
Being with the experience from moment to moment and when you are ready just letting go of the situation,
Of any feelings of the words from Tao Teking and returning to the body as a whole,
Sitting here and breathing,
So from the top of the head out to the fingertips and down to the toes,
The body becomes the oneness,
A sense of spaciousness and when you are ready just opening the eyes if they're closed,
Moving the fingers and toes,
Just feeling the transition from the practice to the normal daily life thank you
