Intention: simply being with the breath and body, a sense of simplicity. Contents: the practice starts with simply focusing on the breath, and moving to the whole body. Then keeping a connection with the body and listening to some words from Tao Te Ching, "To be part is to be whole; to be bent is to be straight; to be hollow is to be filled; to be worn out is to be renewed; to acquire less is to have more." Finally, letting go and focusing on the body as a whole. *22 曲则全,枉则直,洼则盈,敝则新,少则得,多则惑。

This is a simplest practice finding a posture that could support an intention to be present,

To be wakeful gently closing the eyes while lowering the gaze so when you are ready bring the field of awareness to your breath noticing the sensations of breathing in the different parts of the body the air enters into the nostrils and down to the back of throat some gentle movements of the chest and also noticing the abdomen the rising of in-breath and falling away of out-breath and noticing where do you feel the breath moving most vividly wherever the place is just remaining here savoury here noticing the full duration of in-breath and the full duration of out-breath perhaps also a brief pause between in-breath and out-breath between out-breath and in-breath and each breath is unique each in-breath is a new beginning each out-breath is letting go just simply being with your breath breathing in i know i'm breathing in breathing out i know i'm breathing out simply being here and breathing in at a certain point perhaps taking a deep breath and without breath letting go and expanding our awareness to the whole body the whole body is sitting here and noticing the sensations of the whole body from top of the head out to the fingertips and down to the toes and you may notice some pleasant sensations just remaining here and savouring you may also notice some unpleasant sensations and see if it's possible to allow them to be here breathing into the sensations and softening and when you are ready returning to the body as a whole sitting here and breathing simply being with your body being with the experience from moment to moment i'm going to read some words from tao tukki and see if it's possible to keep a connection with your body when you listen to them to be part is to be whole to be bent is to be straight to be hollow is to be filled to be wore out is to be renewed to acquire less is to have more just allowing this world to flow into your body so at a certain point just taking a deep breath and without breath letting go of these words and then returning to the body as a whole so the whole body is sitting here and breathing a sense of steadiness and spaciousness and taking your time to open the eyes or widen the gaze moving the fingers and toes feeling the transition from practice to the normal life thank you
