This session will help you relieve stress and calm anxiety.

Find a quiet space where you can relax without interruption and let's begin this journey to inner peace.

Find a comfortable position,

You can sit or lie down,

Whatever feels best for you.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in all the way down to the tummy and as you breathe out longer than you breathe in,

Breathing in calm and breathing out tension,

Breathing in calm and breathing out tension and as you continue to breathe deeply I want you to focus on the sensations of your body relaxing,

Feel the weight of your shoulders gently easing down,

Let your jaw loosen,

Allow your entire body to begin to unwind and in this peaceful place in your mind,

You can feel completely safe and at ease,

Allow the sounds to gently help you drift into a deep relaxing state and as you settle into this place,

Let's focus on releasing stress,

Imagine a warm gentle light flowing down from above,

The light is soothing,

Washing away tension and anxiety,

Starting at the top of your head,

Feel it slowly moving down,

Relaxing your face,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Let it continue down your arms,

Your chest,

Your stomach,

All the way down to your toes and with every breath,

Feel yourself becoming lighter and calmer,

Imagine all your worries or fears,

Stresses and anxieties gently floating away,

Gently floating away like leaves carried downstream by a gentle river,

They're moving further and further away,

Further and further away until they disappear completely and in your mind,

Say the words,

I am safe,

I am calm,

I am in control,

Let these words resonate deeply with every part of your being,

I am safe,

I am calm,

I am in control,

I am safe,

I am calm,

I am in control and as your inner mind knows how to release all stress and anxiety that you no longer need to hold onto any longer,

Letting it all dissolve away,

That beautiful light that flows through your body,

Surrounding your body,

Dissolving away any tension or worry,

Stress or anxiety,

Gently dissolving it away,

I am calm,

I am safe,

I am in control of my thoughts and emotions,

Let these words add seeds of confidence and peace within you,

Every muscle,

Nerve cell and fibre of your being is soothed and reassured,

Valued and listened to,

All parts of you working together in a beautiful harmony and inner balance,

Feeling that glow and harmony and balance within you that you can take with you,

And in a moment,

You can come all the way back to full alertness or you can just drift off to sleep,

If you'd like to waken up,

Take a deep breath in and slowly let it out,

Begin to notice the surface beneath you,

The sounds around you,

Wiggling your fingers and toes and bringing yourself back to the present moment,

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Feeling refreshed,

Calm and centred,

And you can return to this anytime you need a moment of calm.
