Take a nice couple of deep breaths in your own rhythm please.
And adjust your posture to be comfortable.
Let your to-do list go,
Your calendar,
Your monkey mind.
Let it all go just for a minute or two.
And come with me today on a journey to prisms.
Prisms are a very unique and wonderful thing in our material world.
And they have wonderful qualities.
They show us that we can see more than just the surface of the things.
I invite you to imagine that you're holding up a prism in front of your eyes.
And the sunlight is beaming through it.
And of course not too far away on the wall or the floor or wherever you're standing outside on a tree,
You suddenly cast a prism shadow.
Except it's not.
It's not a shadow.
It's a multicoloured rainbow.
How could that be?
How could a piece of glass or its equivalent break up light into its constituent elements?
How could it be that simple that what we see is just light suddenly splits apart to reveal itself and the glory of a rainbow?
How could that be?
And perhaps the lesson from prisms is not just the science or the mechanics of light and light frequencies.
Certainly that.
Perhaps it's a deeper lesson.
Perhaps it's a lesson that all is never and it just appears.
What if all of life were seen through the prism of our own consciousness?
What if one of the purposes and gifts of our consciousness is to be a prism?
To see the different frequencies and patterns,
The rainbow so to speak,
In everything,
In every one,
In every moment.
So just for a moment imagine that you are the prism.
Down into it.
Be the prism so to speak.
Feel the light coming in on the back of you and the rainbow light shining out in the front of you.
Just imagine that that experience of being the prism may be the gift of the prism of consciousness itself.
Imagine looking at everything in your environment and seeing the rainbow centers,
Seeing the constituent patterns and frequencies,
Perhaps even hearing the sounds.
What sound is a rainbow?
What sound is a particular color in a rainbow?
Prism just might reveal that to you.
Perhaps prism is an attitude.
A philosophy.
A way of seeing and being in the world that reveals more than just the surface.
Just imagine you carrying an attitude and perspective of prism in your entire life and all your moments.
You look at a child and you see the rainbow of their being.
You look at a tree and you see the rainbow of their existence and their legacy.
You look at the ocean and you see the rainbow of trillions upon trillions of water droplets.
Almost like having on a pair of prism glasses through which a deeper truth is revealed.
But really those glasses are your consciousness,
Your awareness,
Your presencing.
Just be the prism for another moment.
And imagine the possibility that everything pulled apart and displayed is rainbow colors and wide varieties of frequencies beyond imagining.
And you're listening to them,
Not just seeing them.
Sounds,
Orchestras and music beyond imagining.
Oh,
How lucky we are to live with this incredible planet,
This incredible lifetimes,
These unbelievable bodies.
Just see the rainbow universe.
Just feel the resonance and the vibration.
Your rainbow is with you with everything.
Clearly prisms hold these frequencies,
Magnify them,
Show them to us,
Reveal them.
The prism of your own mind,
The prism of your own being.
Just imagine having access to this prism point of view,
Whatever you want,
Whenever it's fun,
Whenever it's easy.
And finally,
Look in the mirror with the prism eyes and see the rainbow of your own existence,
Your own frequencies,
Your own patterns.
And when you're ready,
Give thanks,
Come back into the room and have a wonderful day.
