Take a nice couple of deep breaths in your own rhythm please.
Adjust your posture to be comfortable if you haven't already.
Let's just soak into your chair,
Feet on the ground,
Lying down,
Whatever you're doing.
Feel your body.
Feel the oxygen entering your bloodstream as you take a couple of more deep breaths.
Come with me on a journey to spring everywhere.
I think about springtime as a seasonal event and of course it is,
But it's more than just that.
So if it's spring for you now,
Connect into that,
Whatever that means,
Wherever you live,
Whatever the seasonal effect might be.
Flowers,
Birds,
Bees,
Temperature change,
General change in weather,
Aliveness,
Newness,
Births.
Just take a moment and tune in to spring in your community.
But as you do,
Realize the different parts of the planet have springs at different times.
Some complete the opposite,
Some sooner or later.
To your springtime is just one moment in springtime or a series of moments or months.
And there are many,
Many moments and months across the planet.
If we could see spring arriving,
It would be like a wave across the globe and reversed in timing below the equator.
Imagine you could feel those waves like bursts of flowers and light.
Spring is more than even just that,
A moving target so to speak.
Spring leaves evidence behind.
And to find this evidence,
We're going to dive into a tree.
Pick your favorite tree or your favorite kind of tree or whatever tree occurs to you right now.
And get tiny,
Tiny,
Tiny,
Tiny and dive into its very structure.
And when you do,
You encounter many rings that make up its structure,
Each representing a year.
Pick one of those rings.
Could be younger near the surface of the park,
Could be older,
Could be some of the original years,
Right near the middle.
But pick a ring.
Now dive into that ring because in that ring you will find all the seasons of that year,
Including in particular spring.
The memory of spring right there in every layer of that tree,
But particularly the layer you just picked.
Dive in to the springtime of that park in that moment.
Like a frozen moment in time as every ring of a tree is representing the atmosphere,
The nutrients,
The air,
The sunlight,
All the ingredients of that particular spring,
Perhaps many years ago.
Take a moment and dive in.
And as you do,
Feel the vibrancy of spring in a way sort of frozen in time here that we're unlocking for the openings,
Celebrations.
The same thing she felt at the beginning of this journey but now represented ten years ago,
A hundred years ago,
Depending on your tree.
In other words,
Spring is with us all the time,
Leaving all its evidence.
It would be a spring and rings of springs in every root,
Of every plant in every tree,
As well as in the ring of every tree.
Just imagine,
Of course,
All the cycles of birth and death and birth again and spring again and spring again and now spread yourself across some of those rings and all the different springs that that creature,
That being,
That living entity has experienced and now burst out of the tree again,
Full of the wisdom and knowledge of many springs,
Many springs past and many springs to come.
And now imagine all the springs to come,
Not just in your life and not just in your community but once again all across the planet,
Wave after wave after wave of spring times.
In the future,
Beyond our imagining.
And then connect the through line from the very first spring,
Whenever that is,
To the millions to follow.
Springtime,
Its own consciousness,
Its own life,
Its own legacy,
Its own beauty.
What an extraordinary gift for humanity to experience and cherish.
And now bring springtime across the centuries into your body and live in each of your cells with that vibration and that tongue.
And when you're ready,
Give thanks.
Come back into the room and have a wonderful day.
