I'll invite you for this meditation to gently find a comfortable seated position.
And just allow these few moments to tune into yourself.
Allowing the sit bones to rest comfortably on the surface beneath you And with the eyes closed or the gaze gently lowered.
Notice what might be going on for you at the moment.
Now start to bring awareness to your breath.
Noticing the inhale and the exhale breath Notice what the breath is doing for your body if anything.
Maybe the breath calms you.
Maybe the breath grounds you.
Or maybe the breath is trying to keep up with the state of her body.
Frustration,
Agitation,
Annoyance.
And whatever is happening for you at the moment.
Can we allow this time to just notice?
Without judgment,
Without fixing.
Noticing what might be going on for you at the moment Now bringing awareness to your body.
Doing a short body scan from the top crown of the head all the way down to the shoulders,
The hips,
The thighs,
The legs,
The toes.
Just notice which areas of the body might feel a bit tight today.
Which parts of the body might need a bit more of your attention today.
Which parts of the body might need a little bit more ease.
And as you breathe here,
Gently notice.
Noticing each thought that passes by.
Noticing each thought that comes by and passes through.
And maybe allowing yourself to detach from that thought.
So often we have thoughts that we associate meaning to words.
Whether it's about ourselves or about the world.
And maybe just noticing that thoughts are just thoughts we can separate ourselves from that notion.
Bringing ourselves a little bit more self-compassion.
Giving ourselves a bit more space.
A bit of distance from whatever the thought is.
And as you notice the thoughts in the mind,
Come back to the body.
Come back to the breath.
And spending a little bit of time here to see how these are all connected.
The story in your mind,
The narrative that runs,
The body sensations and the breath.
And as we come to the end of our time together Check in with yourself to see what you might need.
Whether it's a little bit of a gentle stretch,
A bit of movement.
Maybe it's a few more rounds of breath.
And gently allowing this time and space for that.
I will leave you here today.
Thank you so much for joining me in this meditation.
Taking your time to come out of this state and back into the space you are in at your own time,
At your own pace I hope you have a great day ahead.
