For this meditation,
I'll invite you to find a comfortable seated position.
Allowing the sit bones to ground comfortably on the surface beneath you and as you land into this moment Notice that contact.
And if it feels okay for you,
I'll invite you to let the eyes fall shut.
Allowing the top eyelid to rest gently on the bottom lid.
With the eyes soft.
With the facial muscles soft Start to find your breath.
And as you take these first few rounds of breaths,
Notice how the breath travels up towards the chest.
And as you exhale,
Notice how the breath travels downwards towards the belly.
And really giving space for this process to happen.
Noticing what happens in the body as you breathe in and out At this moment,
There is no need to do anything.
No need to fix anything.
But simply notice what might be happening in the body.
Now start to bring awareness to your body.
Any areas of the body that might feel tight or tense.
Maybe there's an energetic feeling,
Some tingling,
Some pressure.
And start to bring your awareness towards it.
Giving space for that feeling.
Getting curious with what that feeling might be.
And again,
There's no need to judge.
Or to blame.
Or to think that you might be doing something wrong because in meditation there's no right or wrong.
There's no bad or good.
There's no better or worse.
There's no destination or goal.
Or anything that we're trying to achieve.
But here at this moment,
We're just noticing.
And sometimes noticing might just be the hardest thing.
So often the mind will come in with judgments,
Criticism,
Thoughts?
And your job right here,
Right now.
Is to witness those thoughts.
To let them be here.
Without putting a label.
Or perception.
Or an interpretation towards them.
Or rather just noticing.
Giving space to these thoughts.
Giving space to body sensation.
Giving space to your breath.
And as you sit here,
Noticing your body,
Noticing your thoughts,
See if you can lengthen the breath.
Making it longer,
Making it deeper.
Giving it more space.
You can stay here for as long as you need.
When you are ready,
Gently bring movement into your fingertips and your toes.
Maybe rolling the shoulders up,
Back and down.
Maybe giving yourself a full body stretch.
And then slowly gently Blinking the eyes open.
Coming back to the space you are in.
Thank you so much for listening to this meditation.
I wish you a great day ahead.
