Find a comfortable place where you can sit or lie down away from distractions.
Close your eyes and let's begin this tranquil journey together.
Start by focusing on your breath.
Inhale deeply through your nose allowing your lungs to expand fully.
Feel the cool air entering your nostrils,
Filling your chest and abdomen.
Hold this breath for a count of 4.
Now exhale slowly and steadily through your mouth,
Feeling a warm release.
Let this exhalation be a release of all the worries and stress.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Turn your attention to your body for progressive muscle relaxation.
Begin at the crown of your head,
Tense the muscle there gently,
Then release,
Feeling a wave of relaxation.
Move to your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaws,
Tensing and relaxing each area.
Continue this down through your neck and shoulders,
Arms and hands,
Chest,
Back,
Abdomen,
Hips,
Thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
And all the way to your toes.
Feel each part of your body relax and let go of any tension.
Imagine yourself in a serene forest surrounded by tall ancient trees.
The ground beneath you is soft and supportive.
Visualize roots growing from the soles of your feet,
Burrowing deep into the earth.
These roots connect you to the nurturing power of nature,
Stabilizing and grounding you.
Feel the energy of the earth rising up through these roots,
Filling you with a sense of strength and calm.
With every breath,
These roots grow stronger and you feel more connected to the world around you.
In this forest,
Notice the details around you,
The sound of leaves rustling,
The gentle touch of the breeze,
The fragrance of the earth.
This is the power of the present moment.
As thoughts about the past or future come to your mind,
Acknowledge them and then gently bring your focus back to the sound,
Sensations,
And smell of the forest.
You are here,
In this moment,
Fully engaged and alive.
Within this forest glade,
Envision a beam of light descending from the sky,
Bathing you in its glow.
This light represents clarity,
Healing,
And creativity.
Feel its warmth as it envelops you,
Energizing your spirit.
