Drop in to a meditation on loving awareness.

We'll begin by first settling the body.

Wiggling and adjusting so that you're more comfortable.

Allowing your eyes to close.

And becoming aware of your body in space.

Noticing gravity.

Noticing weight.

Pressure.

Heaviness.

Becoming aware that you're here now in your body.

Just being here now with the body.

And with the sound of the chimes.

With the sound of my voice.

Letting yourself find ease.

In this moment,

Nowhere to go,

Nothing to accomplish.

Just an opportunity to be aware.

Bringing one hand to your belly and one hand to your heart.

Becoming aware of the breath in your belly.

Breathing in and filling up with air.

Breathing out and noticing that your body just knows what to do.

It just naturally releases.

We'll count rhythmically to five.

And as I count,

Just simply allow yourself to be breathed.

As we stay in the now.

In this place of loving awareness where we're here with what is.

And what is real is this breath.

This breath.

This breath.

Taking a clearing breath together in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Noticing if there's a hand on your heart still.

Bringing your hand there and touching your physical chest and deepening the awareness you've been bringing into your body,

Into the love that you are.

The goodness that is your true nature.

It is accessible to you.

Even if it's just a tiny bit.

You can find it through feeling gratitude,

Through calling to mind someone you love,

Through just opening to the sound of the child.

Just feeling this loving awareness inside of you.

And remembering that it is your true nature.

Your essence,

Love,

Light and grace.

Opening to the awareness in this moment.

That love is who you really are.

All who you really are.

Here to love and be loved.

To emanate love and give it back and spread it around and share it.

To awaken to our compassionate hearts.

As we let go of the fear that keeps us trapped in the past,

In the future.

And we find in this present moment,

When we're truly here now without judgement,

That we are loving awareness.

Feeling it in your body,

In your spirit.

We'll do a rhythmic breathing practice.

The head to heart space breathing.

We've already breathed in and out in our belly to feel the grounding in our body and to become aware of our bodies.

Now we'll move into the heart space as we connect with the hand on our heart.

And we breathe,

As we breathe in we fill up with the essence of loving awareness.

And as we breathe out we let it flow through each cell of our body and radiate out into the world.

And recognizing that you don't have to choose between your humanity and your divinity.

You can find your way from head into heart space and be in both.

To be embodied and to see through eyes of love.

So I invite you to feel your body in your chair or on your bed or cushion.

Beginning to wiggle your toes and wiggle your fingers.

And as you softly blink your eyes open,

Letting yourself see through these eyes of love.

You are loving awareness.

May you remember that you can come back to this place over and over.

It's as simple as putting one hand on your belly,

One hand on your heart.

And practicing head to heart space breathing.

Counting to 5 or 6.

Whatever feels good to you.

Grounding and centering in your body.

Connecting into your heart and feeling.

Remembering in this present moment.

There is goodness flowing in you.

It is who you are.

And what a gift it is to practice this together today honoring round us.
