I invite you to take a moment to just become aware of your surroundings,
Experiencing this moment fully.
So maybe that starts with just looking around,
Noticing objects,
People,
Things,
Noticing what there is to notice in this moment.
And when you're ready,
Just allowing your gaze to rest upon a solid object in front of you,
Softening your gaze,
And if it feels okay,
Maybe closing the eyes.
And becoming aware of your breath,
This natural anchor that we hold on to each and every day,
Each and every moment.
Just simply notice the pattern,
The texture.
Experience your breath fully in this moment.
Perhaps you acknowledge the rise and fall of your chest,
Ribs,
And belly.
Noticing the cool air on the inhale and the warm release on the exhale.
Knowing that if at any point during today's practice your mind begins to wander,
Just simply return to your breath,
Return to your anchor,
Pulling you,
Keeping you,
Holding you in this present moment.
And now just taking a moment to observe,
Notice,
And experience this moment fully.
As my voice begins to quiet and you allow yourself to surrender to the stillness.
And slowly drawing your awareness back into this moment.
Acknowledging any shifts,
Any changes,
Any differences.
Perhaps beginning to deepen your breath.
Maybe introducing small movement like wiggling fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Slowly blinking the eyes open.
Taking a moment to look around and just acknowledge your surroundings once more.
And when you're ready,
Continuing on with your day.
