Welcome.
Today we are going to be working in practice number five from the five things to start developing your intuition.
And if you have not done practices number one through four,
I would recommend that you stop this recording and start with practice number one,
And then finish all four practices before you get to this fifth practice,
Which is the one that encompasses all the first four practices of developing your intuition today.
So let's begin.
We've been practicing five different things that we can do to develop our intuition.
And it all comes together in a practice where we're going to just step by step,
Let ourselves feel what we felt before.
And perhaps you open to a different layer of something that you did not see before.
And that can only be achieved without expectations.
So my invitation to you is to be okay with finding out.
Things that you had not seen before.
If it is something very small,
Maybe it is just realizing your mind posture towards being open and what story you have behind.
Being open to the unexpected things to happen during meditation,
That would be enough.
If you notice something within you,
That is enough.
That is what we're looking for.
So let's arrive in our bodies right now and let our hearts shine open.
By deepening your breath and dropping your shoulders.
And check your position and make sure that your body feels supported.
Letting your hands rest wherever they land comfortably.
And soften your gaze towards the floor.
Or allow your eyes to close.
Take one deep breath in and let it go through the mouth.
Letting the breath grow deeper.
And again,
Breathing in through the nose.
Breathing out through the mouth.
Softening your jaw.
And letting the breath find its natural rhythm.
And for the next few minutes,
You do not need anyone's opinion and what you're feeling,
Sensing.
You don't need to make decisions.
You don't need certainty.
You're just creating a little more space to hear yourself first.
Let's begin noticing the world that surrounds you by Feeling something on your skin,
Noticing the weight of your clothes.
Or maybe the touching points from your body to the earth,
The cushion,
The couch.
And notice also two things that you can hear.
Maybe they're subtle,
Like the air conditioning blowing.
The sound of birds.
Maybe it's louder.
I'm not barking.
Someone else speaking.
And perhaps now imagine in your mind's eye the color green,
Just to wake up all the senses.
And notice now a green circle.
And perhaps you don't see it,
You just feel it.
In whatever way the body perceives a green circle,
That is what it means for you now.
Let your senses bring you here.
And notice that you're still taking slow breaths.
And as you breathe softly through the meditation.
Like for you to bring something that you are considering today,
Something that is not life-changing maybe.
A decision that you may be wanting to take,
Small or big.
Maybe it's something that you want to say yes to or no to.
Something that you want to begin.
Or something you want to end.
Just let one decision come forward.
And stated in your mind.
Not to explain it,
Just naming it.
How are you perceiving this notch or this pull or this hum that you feel inside of you?
Just name it for now.
Can you perceive this decision as a pull or as an intuition?
As a nod.
Maybe you can perceive it as a knowing.
So whatever word comes.
Just remember that word,
That that is what you are feeling right now.
And if you don't have a warrant for it,
That's fine.
Just keep your subtle decision with you right now.
Don't chase it,
Just notice it.
And now let's let those words fade away and bring your attention to your body.
To your throat,
Your chest.
Your stomach.
You're breathing.
Your hands.
What happens?
When you hold this decision here.
What do you notice?
Do you notice openness?
Expansion.
Or maybe you notice heaviness or pressure.
Or you feel drawn to it or pulling back from it.
Just find whatever sensation you feel when you hold.
Your decision in your body.
There is nothing to interpret yet.
Simply ask,
What is my body noticing?
And let the first response be enough.
Before the explanation.
And imagine that you don't know what answer you're supposed to get,
What you're going to do.
Maybe your body's asking you to wait.
Or to create more space.
So let your intuitive response be a little like that blank canvas from our creativity practice.
You don't have to control what appears.
You only need to let it appear.
Let whatever appears be what you are here to get.
If it's nothing,
It's nothing.
If it's a hunch,
It's a hunch.
If it's constriction,
It's constriction.
Let it be.
Gonna be quiet for the next few seconds to let you be okay with what appears for you.
And now I would like for you to notice what your mind wants to do with what you have received.
Is there maybe an urge to tell someone about it or to explain it?
To defend it.
There's nothing wrong to seeking perspective or let another person be a part of your decision.
But before you have this knowing or this noticing that you just felt,
Stay with it for a few more moments,
A few more hours,
A few more days.
And imagine maybe copying that information that you received in your hands,
Not being afraid.
But making it yours before you let anyone else be a part of it.
Simply giving it a little space to belong to you first.
And before we end,
I would like to ask a few questions that can stay with you.
And you ask them in the first person,
What did I hear?
What did I notice?
What did I read?
And begin to bring your attention back to the body again.
Feeling your chest.
Feel your shoulders.
Your hands.
The surface beneath you.
Let's take one slow breath together.
And let it go.
And before opening your eyes.
You don't need to decide what to do with anything yet.
Just let your read your perception of the body about your decision.
Be yours before it's anybody else's.
You can open your eyes when you're ready.
Stay curious.
Let yourself receive more information.
You have the tools.
And if you are inclined to journal.
You may just ask,
What changed?
What has changed after doing this practice?
And welcome yourself back.
