Welcome to your morning meditation on priming your brain in cultivating gratitude to start your day with intention and purpose.

My name is Krishna Ruparelia and I would like to take you through a guided meditation to help you increase your sense of well-being and resilience and feel a greater level of ease and abundance for your day ahead.

So let's get ready,

Sitting comfortably with your spine upright,

Closing down the eyes,

Relaxing your jaw and parting your teeth,

Relaxing your shoulders,

Softening into your belly.

And let's start by taking a few breaths.

Inhale deeply through your nose.

Exhale fully,

Letting go through your mouth.

Feeling your feet connect to the earth.

Notice your buttocks connect to the seat of your chair.

And continue taking a couple of breaths in,

Noticing that as you are breathing in,

Your belly is expanding like a big balloon.

And as you are breathing out,

Your belly is contracting,

Inhaling expansion,

Exhaling contraction.

Now take your attention to your heart,

Softening into the chest region.

Drawing your attention to this very powerful question.

What can you be grateful for right now?

Noticing how it feels to be in your body in this moment.

Noticing the incoming breath,

Energizing the body.

Noticing the exhale of your breath,

Bringing a deeper connection to your body.

Feel into the relaxation.

Lengthen your breath with each moment.

Noticing the space between the inhale and exhale.

Where are you feeling the sensations in your body right now?

Where is the location of the sensation in your body?

Noticing every granular detail,

Feeling the aliveness in this very moment.

Dropping into the physical sensation,

An expansion of the warmth in your chest.

Hold your attention there,

Softening into the chest a little more with each breath.

Breathing into the fullness of your heart,

Knowing that you can call on this at any time.

I'd like you to take a moment where you can reflect and think of a time where you were deeply grateful.

Perhaps it was a beautiful conversation with a loved one or a friend.

Perhaps you had a nourishing meal or a beautiful cup of coffee.

Perhaps a kind stranger helped you along the way.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.

It turns what we have into enough.

It can turn denial into acceptance,

Chaos to order,

Confusion to clarity,

A meal into a feast,

A house into a home,

A stranger into a friend.

Becoming aware of the sounds in the environment right now.

Drawing all the sounds to you in this moment.

When you are ready,

With a smile on your face,

Get ready to start your day with intention and appreciation.
