Sikin teaches practical, evidence-informed approaches to stress, nervous system regulation, resilience, sleep, emotional well-being, and the transitions that come with midlife and changing identity. She's particularly interested in what happens to the human mind and body when the pace of life, work and technology exceeds our capacity to recover by helping people understand what their minds and bodies are actually asking for. Her classes combine neuroscience, psychology, contemplative practices and simple techniques you can use in real life; whether you’re trying to quiet a busy mind, sleep more deeply, create space between yourself and stress, navigate overwhelm or simply feel more present in your own life. I believe well-being isn’t about becoming a different person. It’s about having the capacity to be fully yourself especially when life is asking more of you. Sikin holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development, with a focus on leadership and personal power; is a certified Brain-Based Coach through the NeuroLeadership Institute; and a Certified Health & Well-Being Coach through Duke Integrative Medicine. She has simultaneously spent more than a decade teaching yoga, meditation and mindfulness.
