Dr. William Jackson has spent 20 years teaching mindfulness-based meditation. He incorporates core methods from Vietnamese Zen, Burmese Theravada, and contemporary evidence-based practices. William has spent 7,000+ hrs. of time in retreat and six years as a fully ordained Buddhist monk. He is trained as a clinical health psychologist and has developed mindfulness-based interventions with the NIH, The Benson Henry Institute at MGH, Center for Mindfulness and Compassion, and Harvard Medical School.

I thought this practice was skillfully guided. I unexpectedly had a deep appreciation for sounds. The feeling of space between sounds was noticeable and brought a feeling of peace in silence. The body awareness had lots of depth and I really enjoyed following the breath per the instructions. I feel like this practice will really help me with my concentration and deepen non judgment and full acceptance for how things actually arise in the breath and body. Thank you for this and I will definitely be using this often! I plan on exploring your other guided meditations too! Boundless Metta to you! 🙏🏼😊

Thank you for the reminder that it takes time to settle during a sit. Thank you also for mentioning seeing the calming process as both shortening the periods of distraction between periods of awareness of breathing and lengthening the periods of awareness. Thank you for the silence.
