My name is Jacqueline and I'm going to take you on a sleep journey where I will leave you to enjoy a tranquil night's sleep.
Let's prepare our body for sleep.
Get into a comfortable position where you feel most relaxed.
Move slightly just to make sure.
Feel the pillow under your head and the covers over your body.
You feel warm and cozy and you begin to relax.
Allow your mind to clear.
Allow unnecessary things to move away.
If unwanted thoughts come in,
Just push them aside.
This is your time to sleep.
Your time to feel comfort.
Your time to rest and recharge.
Your time for relaxation.
Now,
Take a deep breath in and fill your body.
Now release as your body starts to relax.
And another deep breath in as your whole body fills with calming energy.
And then release.
Your body is beginning to relax as you take nice steady breaths.
You are warm.
You are cozy.
You feel safe.
As your body relaxes,
Your mind drifts to outside.
Outside there is snow.
Lots of snow.
You snuggle into your bed as you imagine the coldness of the snow.
But at this moment,
The snow looks inviting and you wander outside.
It's twilight outside and the snow looks so pretty as the low sun shines and sparkles on the snowflakes.
You wander down the road and look at the snow.
You are alone.
Everyone is in their houses staying warm.
You breathe out and notice your breath.
It's cold out here but it doesn't bother you.
You walk on a little further.
You hear a noise.
Looking up into a nearby tree.
You see a large owl.
The owl is calling to you.
You walk over to the tree.
The owl moves down to a branch near you.
Using your mind,
You can understand the owl's message.
Listen.
This message is just what you wanted to hear and you continue listening.
The owl flies over.
You can hear the owl's voice.
The owl flies away.
You turn and walk back to the path you were on.
You enjoy walking.
You enjoy the peace.
You enjoy the calmness.
You realize you need more of this in your life.
You realize you need to take time just for you in your day.
You realize that being at peace with yourself will enable peace with others.
The snow is falling around you.
You enjoy the tiny snowflakes as they fall upon your face.
You hold your hand out and a larger snowflake lands on your palm.
You look at it and realize its beauty.
Its uniqueness.
Its delicacy.
You smile as you look at it.
As it begins to melt,
You sense the meaning.
You are also beautiful.
You are also unique.
You are also delicate and need to be kind to yourself.
The snow is becoming heavier as you process the messages you have received.
All things you have needed to hear.
With a happy heart,
You leave the outside and find yourself back in the warmth of your bed.
You are sleepy now.
You are more relaxed.
You are comfortable and warm.
As you feel sleep getting closer,
You feel content with life.
As you feel yourself drifting off,
You feel happy with who you are.
You are amazing.
You are inspiring.
You are a beautiful person inside and out.
You are nearly asleep.
You are so relaxed.
You are so comfortable.
You are warm and cosy.
You are ready for sleep.
You are ready to dream.
As sleep envelops you,
You fall into a deep,
Deep sleep.
You are not alone,
