Dear friends.
Welcome to this evening gratitude reflection for Saturday.
This is the seventh and last in our series of seven.
We begin by bringing ourselves into this present moment of gentle awareness.
We let the events of the week settle.
Like gently falling leaves.
There is nothing you or I need to fix or change right now.
So once more,
We return to the breath.
The Bread is an ever-present teacher.
Who invites us to begin again.
We begin again with each inhale and each exhale.
So breathe.
Breathe in with a sense of openness.
Openness to all you've learned today.
And breathe out with a sense of release.
Releasing whatever you no longer need to carry.
So we'll stay with the breathing for one minute,
Just 60 seconds.
To allow the bread to guide us all into a place of peace and calm.
Welcome back.
This evening,
I am grateful for the lessons of this day.
Both the easy ones and the difficult ones.
I am grateful for the moments when things went well.
They reminded me of my strengths,
My resilience.
And my creativity.
I am also grateful for the moments of frustration or disappointment.
These challenges are my opportunity for growth.
They are lessons in patience.
I reflect on any insight or clarity that came to me today.
For the capacity to learn.
And to begin again.
I pray for the strength.
Look upon my own imperfections with kindness.
That I be as patient with myself as I am with other people.
Recognising that I'm always in the process of becoming.
Never finished.
Always learning.
Always open to the possibility of renewal.
I'm grateful for the inspirational people in my life.
People who have encouraged me to keep going.
People who have seen promise in me.
And I have seen none in myself.
May I always remain open to wisdom.
And less fearful of change.
Always willing to listen to other points of view.
Willing to change my own mind.
And always willing to grow in love and compassion.
As this week comes to a close.
I rest in gratitude for the journey of my life so far.
And I welcome the new beginnings that every tomorrow will bring.
Namaste.
