A young girl was on her school holidays.
She was waiting for the next letter from her father,
Who was with the military overseas.
In the last letter,
He said he'd soon be able to tell her when he was coming home.
Today,
Like the last ten days since school broke up,
No letter arrived.
So she went out to play,
And her best friend Wendy showed her her new loom band kit.
They both played with it for hours.
When she got home,
She showed her mum proudly the two loom bands she'd made,
And asked her mum if she could have a loom band kit for her birthday,
Which was only a week away.
I'll ask the birthday fairy,
Said her mum.
For the next week,
The girl completely forgot about waiting for a letter from her dad,
And was hoping she'd be in when the courier arrived,
So she could make sure her loom band kit had turned up.
By the time it came to the day before her birthday,
It still hadn't arrived.
Maybe it had come when she was out playing with Wendy.
On the day of her birthday,
She came down for breakfast,
Expecting to see a nicely wrapped present,
But there were just birthday cards.
Just as she was about to burst into tears,
The doorbell rang,
And her mum said,
That must be the courier,
Thank God they've turned up in time.
Will you go and get it,
My dear?
The girl ran to the door,
And sure enough,
There was the courier in dark glasses holding her loom band kit.
It took her a couple of seconds after the courier had removed his dark glasses to realise her dad had come home.
So breathe in,
And breathe down.
We live in a world where thoughts become things.
What is largely not recognised is that all thought forms manifest in our reality.
So while the desire for a letter to arrive will help make it turn up,
The fear that it might not also prevents it from coming.
So our head mind and gut mind can both send out thought forms that compete with each other.
The way round this conundrum is to learn how to allow things to arrive.
To do this,
Take the desire for an outcome from your head,
And move it down to your heart centre.
Then take the fear that the outcome might not come to pass from your gut centre,
And move that up to your heart mind.
Let the two cancel out and annul each other.
Then from your heart centre,
Send a message out that you trust that the perfect things will arrive all in good time,
And that when they do,
That you will welcome them in.
Then get along with your daily life,
Knowing you don't have to waste any more time waiting for things to arrive,
As you set up the conditions for everything to come along at just the perfect time.
