Find a comfortable seat.
A place where you won't be disturbed.
Take your time and get ready.
Step 1.
Allow yourself to arrive.
Rest your feet on the floor.
Your palms open facing up or down.
Your back straight but not rigid.
Allowing unrestricted flow of your breath.
Allow your eyes to close.
As you're settling down,
Gather your thoughts and bring to mind what you want to achieve in this practice.
Ask yourself honestly,
Why are you sitting here?
Then you may express it in a form of a verbal affirmation.
Say it out loud.
It may sound like this.
I access the source of my vitality now.
I access the source of my vitality now.
Repeat this affirmation a couple of times so it can sink in.
As you settle down more and more,
Bring to mind,
Bring to your awareness the space around you.
This is space in which you feel safe,
Secure and protected.
Allow yourself to center and ground yourself in this space where you sit.
Own it for the next couple of minutes.
There's nothing that you need to do right now and no other place you'd rather be.
Devote this time and this space to yourself and to your needs,
Allowing yourself deeply dive and what's inside you.
Carl Jung said,
Who looks outside dreams,
Who looks inside awakens.
This is your opportunity to look inside and search inside yourself,
To find those gifts that were always there waiting to be discovered.
Give yourself permission to do that.
As you go deeper and deeper and your physical body becomes more and more relaxed,
You automatically open more and more towards what needs to be discovered.
In order to do it even better,
Bring your attention now to your breathing.
There's no need to control your breath in any way,
Simply recognize and tune in into the natural rhythm of your breath.
Breathing in and out through your nose,
Feel how every breath you take enters through your nose,
Travels to your chest and then to belly and on the way out through the belly,
Chest and nose in your own rhythm at your own pace.
Natural,
Not controlled in any way.
And as you allow it more and more,
You may start recognizing how it slowly changes,
How it becomes longer and perhaps deeper.
Give yourself a minute or so to be with your breath and getting deeper into the natural rhythm of your breath.
Having go of control,
Allowing yourself to be guided.
And this is how we do it.
Month to year.
We're at an inch and a half of ourfullThanks everyone.
This part of the practice is to assure that you restore natural balance of your body.
Letting your body do the work that is designed to do.
In a sense,
You get your intellect out of the way of this process.
This is not an intellectual exercise.
It's more intuitive.
And now allow yourself to perceive that natural rhythm of your breath through the center of your heart.
Breathing in,
Directing the flow of energy towards the center of your chest.
And as you breathe out,
Allow all this tail used up energy to flow out through every cell of your body,
Through your skin,
Outside.
Release it.
Let go of it.
Breathing in,
New fresh energy comes to the center of your heart.
And breathing out,
All used up,
Stale energy leaves your body through your cells,
Through the pores of your skin,
Out to be transformed.
The more intention you direct into this exercise,
The more rejuvenation,
More vitality you bring to this process.
You may want to imagine a small bright spot in the center of your chest.
A speck of pure energy that grows bigger and bigger with every breath you take.
Every time you intentionally direct the energy of your breath towards that point,
Towards the center of your heart.
And you may get distracted somewhere along the way by a sound or a sensation in your body.
Or a thought.
And that's absolutely okay.
As a matter of fact,
This is normal and natural process that will occur.
And your only job is to simply recognize it.
And then to return to the process.
To bring back your attention to what you were doing.
Simply start anew.
Refresh your intention of building up the storage of energy and vitality.
You may notice that for the first couple of minutes you may get distracted more frequently.
And then as you go along the distractions become less frequent.
As you tune in more and as you gain more energy and vitality.
You may continue this process for as long as it takes to restore your natural vitality.
To conclude this session,
Let us take another mindful breath.
Breathing in through your nose.
Hold it.
And out through your mouth.
Exhaling all that energy that you gathered throughout this session.
May it serve you well in times of struggle.
You face challenges.
Or anytime that you need that extra energy.
You feel depleted.
That's it for now.
Thank you very much for joining me for this session.
I look forward to session two of Perfect Week.
For now,
I wish you a wonderful day.
This is Tomek from Synergy Lab Sydney.
