Hello and welcome.
My name is Tina Stinson and I want to thank you for taking some time for self-care today.
Let us begin by finding a comfortable spot either sitting or laying down and take your hands and start to rub them together creating some heat.
Once you feel them warm up place your hands over your eyes and slowly allow your eyes to close.
Let your hands just fall down to your lap now and to begin we will take a few relaxing breaths breathing in through your nose and then exhaling through your mouth as if you were blowing out a candle.
Let's begin breathing in inhaling through your nose filling your belly up hold at the top for a second and now exhale through your mouth blowing out the candle.
Let's do that one more time take that deep breath in through the nose hold at the top and then exhale through the mouth letting out a sigh.
Now take your hands and gently rest them at your heart center allow your shoulders to soften and drop away from your ears release your jaw by just letting it drop open and relax all the muscles in your eyes feeling them just kind of settle back into your head.
Now I want you to silently name what is true for you right now it could be that you're tired or what's going on in your life is hard or you're doing your best.
Whatever it is just let those words land no fixing no judging just noticing.
Now imagine your breath has a warm light wrapping around all the parts of you that need some love your mind your heart allow yourself in this moment to just release the weight of what you've been carrying whisper to yourself I am allowed to rest I am not alone if your mind protests just let those thoughts pass by like a floating cloud in this moment allow yourself to accept exactly as you are right now this is enough let's take one last deep breath in through the nose now take another sip in and then exhale through the mouth let's do that one more time in through the nose another sip in and exhale and release through the mouth you can begin to become a little more awake a little more in your body you can blink your eyes open I want you to carry this small bit of love for yourself carry it through your day thanks for joining me for this small amount of self-care today namaste
