Hello and welcome.
My name is Tina and I want to thank you for joining me for this breathwork meditation for balance and stress relief.
Before we begin,
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down,
Whatever feels right for you today.
Take a moment to adjust your body.
Perhaps you'd like to grab a blanket to feel cozy and maybe an eye mask to help you turn more inward.
A small pillow behind your neck or under your knees can offer some extra support and comfort.
This is your time right now,
So let yourself be completely comfortable.
When you're ready,
Close your eyes.
And begin by checking in with your body.
Notice where you're holding tension.
Notice where you feel at ease.
And let's start by releasing some of that tension together.
Allow your jaw to soften,
Letting your mouth fall open just a little bit.
And feel the muscles around your jaw release.
Letting your shoulders drop away from your ears.
Feeling them slowly melt down your back.
Relaxing your hands,
Uncurl your fingers and let your palms just fall open.
Take a moment to scan your body from head to toe,
And if there's anywhere else holding tension,
Just invite it to soften a little bit.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Don't change it yet,
Just notice it.
Feel the air moving in through your nose and out through your nose.
Notice the gentle expansion of your belly as you breathe in.
And then the soft fall as you breathe out.
Notice how your breath moves like a gentle tide at the beach,
Rising and falling.
Flowing in and flowing out.
And allow yourself to relax into this rhythm.
There's nowhere you need to be and nothing you need to do.
Just breathe.
Now we will begin to breathe to help balance the systems in your body.
We will breathe in through the nose for four counts and out through the nose for four counts.
Let's begin.
Inhale 2 3 4.
Exhale 2 3 4.
Inhale 2 3 4.
Exhale 2 3 4.
Inhale 2 3 4.
Exhale 2 3 4.
4.
Inhale 2 3 4.
Exhale 2 3 4.
Inhale 2 3 4.
Exhale 2 3 4.
Inhale 2 3 4.
Exhale 2 3 4.
For.
Inhale.
Cheers.
3 Exhale.
4 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 Inhale 2.
Exhale.
Now let's take a deep breath in through your nose.
Hold at the top for just a moment and release with a sigh through your mouth.
Allowing your breath to return to its natural pace,
Letting it find its own rhythm again.
Now check in with your body for a moment,
Your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your hands,
And just notice how they feel now.
And then I want you to decide to allow yourself to relax even deeper.
Now we will begin a breath to help relax your nervous system.
We will breathe in through the nose for four counts and then out through the mouth for six counts.
Let's begin.
Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 4.
.
.
Exhale.
.
.
2.
.
.
4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 Sex.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose.
And another small step in.
And release it through your mouth.
Again,
Deep breath in.
Another sip.
And release it through your mouth.
Allow your breath to return to a natural pace.
Letting it flow easily and effortlessly.
Now I want you to tune into your body once more.
Do a quick scan from head to toe.
Notice any areas where there might be a leftover spot of tension.
Perhaps your forehead,
Your neck,
Your stomach,
Your legs.
And with every exhale you have,
Allow that tension to release.
Let it melt away.
Feel your body becoming heavier,
Softer,
More relaxed.
As we come to a close,
Take a moment to notice how you feel.
Notice the stillness,
The calm.
The balance that you've created within yourself.
This energy is yours and you can return to it anytime.
With just a few deep breaths,
You can come back to this place of peace.
When you're ready to begin to wake up.
Wiggle your toes and your fingers and maybe gently stretch if you'd like.
And then slowly open your eyes.
Carry this energy with you as you go about your day.
Knowing you can return to it whenever you need.
Namaste.
