Background to 108 Affirmations for Feeling Stuck or Confused Whenever we feel stuck we can't get straight from stuck to being clear about getting unstuck.

It doesn't matter whether we are stuck in or without a relationship,

Stuck in or without a job,

Or stuck in a way of thinking.

Getting unstuck is a process moving from stuck to confusion to missing something.

Most of us get caught in a cycle of stuck to confused to missing something and back to stuck.

The key to breaking this vicious cycle is curiosity.

With enough curiosity we can always find our way forward to a state of clarity.

So being confused is actually good news.

It's not being stuck.

In fact even being stuck is better than being in denial.

Who's stuck?

I'm not stuck.

There's nothing wrong with me.

These affirmations are about moving from denial through feeling stuck and confused,

Through missing something and curiosity,

To reach clarity.

And they are about speeding up the process so that we can reach clarity faster than ever before.

I first learnt an early version of this process many years ago.

I had just learnt the technique and I remember coming home from work one day and parking outside the house.

I was mulling over a problem at work and I was walking up to the back door thinking that it would be a great opportunity to use the stuck to clear process to move through this problem.

I opened the back door and as I crossed the threshold I suddenly had the thought,

Wow that was quick.

The problem had already been solved just by thinking about the process to solve it.

In fact my mental process had worked slowly enough for me to realise the shift.

Since then there have probably been a great many times when I haven't even realised the benefit of this technique because I moved through whatever the problem was before even realising that I was stuck.

The essence of all good change work is to change our neural pathways.

Instead of firing the same neurons in our brain all the time,

Change work allows our thoughts to go through different pathways.

The purpose of 108 affirmations for feeling stuck or confused is to be able to move from old patterns of thinking into new ones and be able to make that move faster on a daily basis.
