Hello and thank you for joining me for this fruit chakra meditation.

So take a moment to set up your space,

Perhaps closing the door to the room that you're in,

Maybe lighting a candle or an incense,

Perhaps diffusing some essential oils into the space.

And I encourage you to have a pen and journal beside you so you can journal about your experience once you've completed the meditation.

So take a moment to pause this recording and just set up your space so it is comfortable and supportive for you.

And then when you're ready to finding a comfortable seat that works for you,

Ideally if you can be seated on the floor with your hips propped up on a cushion or a bolster or perhaps lying down,

Support under your knees if we need for the low back.

Settling in and then when you are ready to,

Closing down your physical eyes.

And just taking a moment to notice the breath.

Not changing anything,

Just becoming aware of the breathing.

And then when you're ready to,

Slowly starting to deepen the breath.

Breathing in past your ribs into the low belly.

And exhaling through the mouth,

Letting go.

Again breathing in past the ribs into the low belly.

And exhale through the mouth,

Letting go.

So continuing this breathing for the next five to eight breaths,

Trying to deepen and lengthen the inhale as best as you can.

And trying to surrender and soften into the exhale.

And now bringing your awareness to the tip of your tailbone.

Starting to visualize sending your breath past the belly all the way down to the tip of your tailbone.

And as you breathe here visualizing a red light.

And this red light resides right at the tip of your tailbone,

Your root chakra,

Muladhara chakra.

And as you inhale that red light begins to grow and expand.

And as you exhale that red light begins to contract back in towards itself.

So visualizing with every breath that red light growing and expanding.

And each exhale drawing back in towards itself.

Perhaps your red light grows and expands to encompass the room you're in.

Maybe that red light takes over your entire room,

Your house,

Your town or city.

Just sending that red light out with each inhale to a distance that feels organic and comfortable for you.

And now gently releasing the imagery of that red light and then bringing the awareness to the places where your body is connected to the surface below you.

Feeling the support of the surface below you,

How it holds you,

Stabilizes you.

And from each of these points where you are connected to the earth,

Start to visualize roots traveling down through the layers of the earth.

Visualize these roots traveling deeper,

Expanding wider,

Out in various directions.

Observe the color of your roots,

The length,

The thickness.

And just visualizing these roots traveling deeper towards the crystalline core of the earth.

You visualize these roots traveling down through to that crystalline core and wrapping around the center,

Anchoring you to the energy of the earth.

And as you breathe here with each inhale,

You draw up the nourishment,

The energy,

The support that you need.

You draw it up from the earth with each breath in,

Pulling it through your entire body.

And as you exhale,

You release anything that is not supporting you back to the earth.

And with each breath in,

You continue to draw up the nourishment that you need.

And as you breathe out,

Sending what isn't serving you,

What is no longer supporting you back to the earth.

Continuing this visualization until you have nothing left to give back that is not supporting you.

So visualizing that energy drawing up and in.

And only once you visualize that same energy leaving your body is your practice of releasing complete.

And so when you are ready,

Bring your left hand over your heart's face and place your right hand palm face down on the surface you are resting.

As you breathe here connected to the earth,

Repeating the mantra,

I am safe.

I am stable.

I am strong.

Everything I need will be provided for me.

I am safe.

I am stable.

I am strong.

Everything I need will be provided for me.

I am safe.

I am stable.

I am strong.

Everything I need will be provided for me.

Taking a big breath in.

Complete exhale through the mouth.

Letting your hands fall back to wherever is natural for you.

And then bring your awareness to that red ball of light at the tip of your tailbone.

Just observing this light,

Noticing its brightness.

Is it spinning?

Is it pulsing?

Observing this light and just taking in its energies,

Its movements.

And taking a moment to share some gratitude for this root chakra that helps keep you grounded.

This root chakra that stabilizes your survival instincts.

This root chakra that keeps you connected to the earth.

So when you are ready,

You can bring your awareness back to your physical body.

Gently fluttering open the eyes.

Taking in the room that you are in.

Bringing your awareness back to the present moment.

And I encourage you now to journal about your experience with your root chakra.

What nourishment did you draw up from the earth?

What did you release back to her to be transmuted?

What color was your root chakra?

Did the light,

The shape of the light,

Did the light move?

And then just allow for some time for some conscious writing about your root chakra.

No need to censor or edit.

Just allow that writing to flow through you.

Thank you so much and namaste.
