Hello,
I'm Aaron Hubach and welcome.
For the next 20 minutes,
You're going to give yourself something that is becoming rare,
Complete rest.
This track uses a binaural beat in the delta frequency.
Delta is the slowest of our brainwave states.
This is the same deep,
Quiet place your brain visits during the most restorative stages of sleep.
By gently guiding your mind toward that frequency,
We create the conditions for your body and nervous system to do what they already know how to do.
Rest.
Repair.
Restore.
You will hear a tone,
One in each ear.
This is the binaural beat.
It is not music.
It is not meant to be interesting or entertaining.
It is simply a signal,
A gentle invitation for your brain to slow down.
I will offer a few words at the beginning and check in briefly a couple of times along the way.
But mostly,
I will leave you alone.
Because you don't need to be guided into rest.
You just need permission.
So for the next 20 minutes,
There is nothing to do,
Nothing to solve,
Nothing to achieve.
You only need to lie still,
Keep your headphones on,
And let go.
Please make sure you are using headphones as the binaural beat requires one tone in each ear to work as intended.
Find a comfortable position and when you are ready,
Close your eyes.
As we start,
Let your body sink into whatever is beneath you.
You don't need to hold yourself up anymore.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
Hold it gently,
And release it completely.
Again,
Breathe in and let it go.
There is nothing you need to figure out right now.
Nothing you need to remember.
Know where you need to be.
You are safe,
You are supported,
And you are allowed to rest completely.
You are doing beautifully.
Let your body grow even heavier now.
Your arms,
Your legs,
Your face,
Completely at rest.
Deeper now,
Safe and still.
Keep on resting here.
There is nothing to do,
Nothing to become,
Just this.
Let go.
Slowly,
Very slowly,
Begin to become aware of your breathing again.
Notice the weight of your body,
The room around you,
The sounds in your space.
Wiggle your fingers gently and wiggle your toes.
There is no hurry.
Take all the time you need.
When you are ready,
Take one slow breath in and let it go.
Your body has been doing its quiet work of restoration.
Trust that.
Carry this stillness with you back into your day,
Or gently into sleep.
Rest well.
