Good morning.
This is a five minute morning meditation for when you don't have a lot of time,
But you still want to get your day started just right.
Make yourself comfortable and take a deep breath in,
Inhaling through your nose and holding at the top,
Feeling the energy pool inside your body and exhale with a big sigh.
Once more we're going to inhale through your nose,
Holding at the top,
Letting all that energy swirl from the evening before from your sleep,
Your dreams,
And exhale that all out with a big sigh.
Now return to your normal breathing.
Feel the energy building within you.
And with each inhale and each exhale,
Get ready for a beautiful day.
Today will be a great day.
As you breathe in,
Believe it and know it.
You are capable of great things.
You are ready for whatever comes your way.
Today you are going to accomplish everything you put your mind to.
Feel your body waking up.
Feel your breath coursing through your body.
And think of an intention or one word that will set the tone for your day.
It could be energy,
Clarity,
Positivity,
Productivity.
Whatever word you can think of for your day,
Think of this intention and breathe into it.
Feel the intention in your body.
And just take a moment in silence to imagine your day going just as you want it to.
And let this intention sit within you.
Music Now that you've spent some time envisioning your day and setting your intention,
Thank yourself for taking the time this busy morning to meditate.
And think about what else you're grateful for.
Whatever it may be,
Your comfy bed,
The roof over your head,
Maybe that first cup of coffee.
Whatever it is,
Take a moment to breathe and feel your body fill with gratitude.
Music Now you're going to slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.
And breathe in deep.
And whenever you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
