Take five minutes at the end of your day to rest your mind and reflect. We perform a breathing exercise, then reflect on our day on what went right and what we are grateful for. The end of the meditation has affirmations to set you up for a great evening's sleep. Thank you for meditating with me.

Welcome to your evening ritual with the mindful remedy.

This is a moment for you to wind down at the end of your day.

You can do this after work or right before bed.

So go ahead,

Take a seat or lay down wherever you are and close your eyes.

Settle into the surface beneath you and breathe.

To calm our nervous systems,

We will breathe and extend our exhales.

Inhale for 3,

2,

1.

Exhale for 4,

3,

2.

Inhale for 4,

3,

2,

1 and exhale for 5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

Inhale for 5,

4,

3,

2,

1 and exhale for 6,

5,

4,

3,

2,

1.

And now return your breath.

Feel that energy and let it rest.

Beautiful.

And we will take this time to guide ourselves.

Ask yourself,

What went right today?

What went right today?

Name three things that you can be proud of.

Things that you accomplished.

Things that went right.

It can be as simple as unloading the dishwasher.

What went right today?

Take your time.

And now to reflect further.

Think of three things that occurred today that you're grateful for.

Any moments,

Any bright memories.

And cherish that glow of gratitude.

Amazing.

And feel your body now relaxing deeply into the surface beneath you.

To end our evening ritual,

You can listen or repeat after me.

Today I am proud of who I am.

Today I am proud of what I've done.

Today I did my best.

Today I continued the path meant for me.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Tomorrow is full of opportunities.

Tonight I will rest deeply.

Tonight I will take my well-earned rest.

And now breathe and relax deeper.

Have a good,

Well-deserved rest.
