Hi,
It's Abi here from the Mindful Bee with some affirmations that you can listen to whenever you're feeling in need of a reminder that you are perfect just exactly however you may find yourself today.
Find somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down and let the truth of these words wash over you and settle in you.
I do not have to believe everything I hear.
If I choose to believe it,
Only then does it become my truth.
I am responsible for my words and actions so I choose them carefully.
I cannot control what other people think and say but I can control my response to it.
I am exactly where I am supposed to be right now.
What I am learning from this position can help me to grow.
I am enough exactly as I am.
I do not need to prove myself in any way.
I am loved by more people and in more ways than I will ever know.
I listen to my instincts and trust the decisions I make even if they are different to other people.
Things might feel really tough right now but I can get through it.
I believe in myself and the things I can do.
I can feel worried or afraid and still be okay.
I do not have to be perfect for anyone.
I am worthy of love and acceptance however I turn up.
Knowing the things that I am grateful for can help me when I am feeling sad.
It is absolutely normal to experience all feelings whether they bring me sadness or joy.
Every single person feels every single emotion at some time or another.
Small steps now lead to greater strides later on.
I am doing the best I can and refuse to feel guilty for not doing more.
I am not a failure,
I am a survivor.
I have all that I need to get through this.
I do not have to have all the answers today.
I can treat myself like I would a good friend,
With kindness and respect even when I mess up.
Yesterday is the past.
I will continue to show up for myself tomorrow and the next day and that is what's important.
I can make a difference just by showing up in the world and this makes it a better place.
I can get upset with others but still love them and have them love me.
I can choose to keep my body strong and healthy.
The pictures in magazines and on social media do not always reflect the truth.
Sometimes they are hiding a lot of sadness and are worthy of compassion.
I respect myself and my body.
I am in complete control of my body and get to choose what I will accept.
I can speak my mind and get to choose my words with kindness and respect.
I belong and am loved exactly as I am.
I do not need to compare myself to others.
I am me and that is enough.
It's okay to be different.
If everyone was the same the world would not be so exciting.
I learn from my mistakes.
They help me to grow.
I can try my best.
I can accept help from others without needing to feel incapable or weak.
I can handle challenges and overcome them.
I am stronger than I think.
I can find the answer if I'm willing to keep an open mind.
It's okay to do what's best for me.
Just being me is the best thing I can be.
I do not have to believe everything I hear.
