Finding satisfaction and healing perfectionism.
Dear one,
I invite you to connect with your breath as we start this mindfulness.
Use your breath to help you move into feeling and out of thinking.
Use your natural breathing rhythm to bring you home to your body.
When we are home in our bodies,
Resting in our inner peace,
Right with our inner knowing,
We can embody satisfaction,
The feeling of having enough.
On our paths to embodied satisfaction,
We may have to heal our fear wounds that try to pull us out of our divine alignment and into the trap of more and better.
Sometimes we get pulled into ego thinking,
Wanting more,
Wanting the best,
Wanting perfection.
Dear one's,
Perfection does not exist.
Perfect is only a concept of the imagination.
When we try to be perfect,
We are detaching ourselves from reality,
From the current moment.
We have so many voices around us that try to sell us the lie that we need the perfect job,
The perfect house,
The perfect family,
The perfect diet,
The perfect life.
Dear ones,
Please beware of these voices.
Life is too sacred to buy into their fear.
Their fear that feeling satisfaction,
Feeling like you have enough will set you back.
This could not be further from true.
This life is not a race.
There's nowhere you need to go.
No one you need to be.
Nothing you need to prove.
Notice right now how you have enough,
Even if it is just for this moment.
Dear ones,
Take a moment to connect with your breath.
To notice the enoughness around you.
Notice how you may have enough food,
Enough water,
Even enough money.
Enough trees around you,
Enough sun above you,
Enough peace inside of you,
Even if it is just for this moment.
Dear ones,
You will find the peace and satisfaction you long for if you redirect your fear of not enough,
Of needing things in your life to be perfect into a hunger for satisfaction.
As you notice what around you is enough,
Just as it is,
Recognize how that feeling of enoughness brings an ease inside of you.
Opens the door for your higher self to come out.
Though we have been trained to fear the feeling of enough.
If at first you feel fear,
That is okay.
Stay with it and notice what arises after the fear passes.
Remember these fears are all the voices of everyone but you.
Dear one,
There may be parts of your life where you notice you truly do not have enough,
Even in this moment.
For these parts of your life,
Use your most grounded,
Loving self to identify how you can meet this need for yourself.
You do not need to panic.
Only allow fear to move you in the direction of what that voice of knowing inside of you tells you you must do.
All other uses for fear are futile.
Let the fear go.
We can always find parts of our life that are enough.
Soak in the satisfaction you absorb from these areas of your life.
We can always look inside and recognize we,
Ourselves,
Are enough.
Us and our human nature do not,
Cannot,
Be perfect.
Remember,
Dear ones,
Perfection is only a concept of imagination.
The real world is filled with real people who make real mistakes.
Use your breath right now to lead you to the truth that you are enough,
In this moment,
Just as you are.
Breathe in satisfaction with yourself.
You,
Dear one,
In the messiness of the world,
In the messiness of our human selves,
Are surrounded with the opportunity to move into satisfaction at every given moment.
Satisfaction does not come from perfection.
Satisfaction comes from seeing and loving what is right now,
Exactly as it is.
It is enough.
Saying something is enough is saying it is beautiful.
It is saying that we love what is in front of us for exactly as it is.
And,
Dear ones,
Isn't it even more beautiful to love something that isn't perfect?
Isn't it beautiful to love what is messy,
Complicated,
Complex,
And therefore real?
Dear ones,
You are gifted with the wisdom of discernment.
Use your discernment to identify those voices of fear telling you that you need more,
That you do not have enough,
That you are not enough.
Use your wisdom to see that these fears do not serve you.
Release your fear as soon as it lands in your lap.
Dear one,
Let it go.
Use your wisdom to see what you do have.
Use your wisdom,
Your divine knowing,
To see reality in front of you right now.
Soak in all you have right now.
Not what you did have or you will have,
What you have right now.
Soak in enough.
Dear ones,
Soak in satisfaction.
