This mindfulness provides a way to separate yourself from your anxious thoughts. By doing this, you can see that your thoughts are not truth. In fact, when we separate ourselves from our thoughts, we often see that these thoughts are remnants from old beliefs, teaching, and survival strategies that we no longer need. We can work on building autonomy from our thinking and reclaiming the mind as a just a tool, not our master.
