Welcome to this smooth and soothing sleep meditation.
This session is designed for you to be lulled easily into a deep and restful sleep,
So you can wake up feeling calm,
Relaxed,
And energized.
Do whatever you gotta do to make adjustments to your environment now to set yourself up for a deep and restful sleep.
And when you feel ready,
Gently climb into your bed and ease into a position that feels easy and relaxing to you.
And just take a moment to land there,
Really let yourself land and demarcate this moment as the moment where you allow yourself to begin to rest intentionally.
You might choose to sweep your hands gently over your body as if you're gently cleansing away any energy of the day,
Or you might choose to hum or exhale loudly and allow the tension to fall out of you vocally,
Or both at the same time,
Just breathing and flowing with that gentle release.
And now gently bounce around the body and scan for gross tension,
Allowing yourself to notice your legs and feet for a moment and anything you're carrying in that area of the lower body.
And just let your legs and feet be loose and limber and hang out in their leggy and footy way,
Just chilling right now.
Notice any tension in the pelvic bowl and allow it to unwind and sink into the support underneath you.
And now scan the torso,
Feeling the back and the chest and the stomach and any subtle tension you notice in the torso,
Either in the chest or in the belly.
In the bottom or the front,
And allow yourself to breathe gently at your own pace and allow the back muscles to fall into the support of the bed that's cradling them.
And allowing the chest and stomach to start to open and blossom like a delicate flower,
Just feeling the spindles of tension unraveling with the waves of respiration rolling through.
Feel the arms and hands and notice any clenching of the subtlest variety in the hands,
The fingers,
The arms.
And just imagine like you're telepathically whispering to them the gentlest permission to stand down,
To release,
To relax the arms and hands.
And allow that internal sigh of relief and relaxation to wash up into the neck and shoulders.
Just sighing out any tension,
Any holding in that triangle formation.
And allowing that rigidity to continue to melt into soft roundness and gentle flowing waves.
As you feel the jaw and mouth and eyes and forehead all start to feel that moment.
And now feel the top of your head with your spotlight of awareness.
And feel the soles of your feet with your spotlight of awareness.
And feel the top of your head with your spotlight of awareness.
And feel the soles of your feet at the same time,
The top of your head and the soles of your feet.
And imagine a strand of vibrating energy opening up between those two points,
That strand running from the top of the head down to the soles of the feet.
And notice what color that strand of vibrating energy is.
Notice the vibrancy and the rate at which it vibrates.
And begin to slowly,
Deliberately inhale and as you do imagine that wave of breath traveling from the strand at the top of the head down to the soles of the feet.
And on the exhalation feel that wave of energy going from the soles of the feet back up that strand all the way to the top of the head.
And again slowing the breath down a little bit more with each inhalation,
Traveling the attention down the strand and back up on the exhale.
And if there's a natural pause in between the inhale and exhale,
Imagine yourself holding that potential energy at the top of the head or at the soles of the feet,
Waiting with that potentiality and stillness before it waves back up or down.
And feel that wave of energy becoming thicker and more vibrantly alive as it flows down and back up,
Enlivening and calming your energy field like it's cleansing you,
Easing you deeper into the support.
And now let go of that rhythm of breath flowing up and down and simply allow your breath to return to its natural,
Effortless,
Unthinking pace.
And be aware of the vibrating aliveness of your entire body,
That simple,
Quiet,
Buzzing aliveness in every cell of the body.
And allow whatever arises in your consciousness to start to be dissolved in the awareness of that field of energy,
Imagining like it's purifying everything as you simply absorb and go deeper into that field of aliveness,
Head to toe.
Feel that energy starting to emanate past your skin,
Feel the robust,
Effusive nature of your aura opening up and radiating outwards,
That pleasant,
Expansive extension.
Feel your muscles melting like you're chilling in a puddle of your own relaxation,
And floating in an ever-expanding pool of your own energy as it starts to connect with the energy of space.
Feel the gentle ebb and flow of that subtle pool of energy allowing its motion to soothe you and rock you and ease you into a place where a restful state can wash through you effortlessly.
Whatever arises,
Notice it without judgment,
Let it drop and dissolve into the pool of subtle,
Alive energy in the body and go deeper and deeper into that with each passing moment.
Keep letting go of whatever comes up and keep allowing yourself to wash into the flow of subtle energy,
Enjoying getting lost in its currents and eddies as it guides you getting lost in its currents and eddies as it guides you into subtle and thorough restfulness.
Letting go,
Finding that rhythm,
Unwinding deeper,
And dropping into the flow of the subtlest energies that you sense.
And enjoy that process,
Let there be no limits to the depth at which you can let go and deepen your awareness of that flow of energy within your subtle body.
And enjoy that as deeply as you can and I wish you an amazingly thorough rest.
