Welcome to the Self-Love Meditation.
In this meditation we're going to reconnect to ourselves on a really deep level by connecting with this super high,
Clear and consistent frequency of love.
Let's get into it.
Find a position in a chair with your lower back supported,
Your spine straight,
Your neck straight,
Your hands in your lap and your feet on the floor.
You can keep your eyes open on a spot in front of you or you can close your eyes for this one,
Whatever is comfortable.
Start by noticing how you feel and simply allowing yourself to feel whatever is there.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and let it go out through the mouth.
Take an even deeper breath through the nose into the belly and releasing slowly through the mouth.
And on this last breath,
Breathing deep,
Breathing in love and breathing out any negativity.
Allow your tongue to drop to the floor of your mouth,
Your jaw to relax,
The little muscles around your eyes to release,
Your neck and shoulders softening slightly,
Your back muscles unclenching any tension,
Your chest and stomach opening and softening.
Feel your arms and hands releasing,
Your pelvic floor dropping into the support and your legs and feet unclenching,
Relaxing.
Start to tune into the sensations in your body and your breath.
Notice thoughts but let them be in the background,
Starting to take them less importantly as they loosen their grip and start to float in the background.
You start to bring the body and your breath into the front of your awareness.
Stay with the energy in the body and the breath for a few moments as you guide yourself deeper into that energy.
Starting to feel all those little details and vibrations of the cells in the body that you weren't noticing before,
Just starting to lovingly bring them in to your present awareness.
And now start to connect to someone in your mind that you feel a strong sense of unconditional love for.
Feel a beam of light moving from your heart and connecting to their heart.
And now start to connect to someone in your mind that you feel a strong sense of unconditional love for.
Feel a beam of light moving from your heart and connecting to their heart.
With each breath,
Feel that connection,
That beam of love and light growing stronger between you and the person in your mind.
With each breath,
Feel that connection,
That beam of love and light growing stronger between you and that person.
And now gather that energy and bring it back into your heart.
And start to think of a memory that could be with that person or anyone else or by yourself,
Any memory where you felt a deep sense of love,
A feeling of your heart being so overflowingly full in that moment,
In that memory.
And now we're going to take that energy of love and turn it towards ourselves.
And we're going to treat love as a habit,
As something that we can consciously choose to do.
So all the things that we normally reject or judge or deem unworthy or unlovable,
We're just going to practice sending and showing love to all those aspects until every part of our experience is encapsulated by this frequency of love.
And as we do,
We want to welcome in love as an energy that's greater and more powerful than ourselves.
It's part of us,
But it's also greater than us at the same time.
It's like a wave that transforms everything.
So we want to welcome in that wave as it flows through us.
Start to call to mind aspects of yourself that you might struggle with.
Maybe you don't like these parts of yourself.
Maybe you judge them or wish they weren't there.
See if you can simply be aware of some of those aspects of yourself for a moment.
And now start to send those aspects of yourself love,
Feeling that energy of love that you called up in your heart and consciously choosing to show and send love to all those parts of yourself that you normally judge or reject.
This is probably challenging at first,
But that's okay.
That's why we're doing it.
Just staying with that energy of love,
Accepting and embracing every part of ourself as a habit and a practice in this moment.
Any part of ourselves that we feel shame or guilt about,
Just being aware of that.
And aiming to begin to bring forgiveness in.
Starting to forgive ourselves and send that healing energy of love towards those parts of ourselves,
Consciously in these moments.
Any part of ourselves that we feel scared of,
Being aware of it and sending that love.
Being aware of our ego,
Our pride,
Our patterns.
And no matter how challenging they may be or how much judgment we may feel,
Practicing sending that love.
Breathing in that energy of love with every breath and sending it through every part of yourself,
Your mind,
Your body,
Your spirit,
Letting that wave transform every aspect of yourself with that love.
Now calling to mind others in your life.
Starting to extend that love to everyone in your life.
Notice how it's starting to feel effortless or at least hopefully easier now that we've given that love,
That forgiveness,
That compassion to ourselves.
Start to notice how it flows over and towards others with ease.
Calling to mind now every human being on earth and every creature in the universe and sending them that unconditional love,
This powerful frequency that you've summoned and harnessed and you're sending it out like a wave with your intention with every breath.
Feel how this love is gentle but powerful,
Delicate but strong.
And start to visualize and feel yourself moving through your day,
Leading with this energy of love,
Holding it as a priority.
Imagine,
See and feel how it transforms situations that you're in.
See and feel how it releases tension in yourself and others.
See and feel how it elevates and enlivens everything,
Everywhere you go,
Naturally,
Effortlessly,
As you hold this powerful wavelength that's a part of you and greater than you at the same time.
Seeing and feeling how that self-love and acceptance is complete and total and full now that you've become aware of and sent love to every part of yourself.
Seeing and feeling how easy it is to radiate love to every person,
Every creature that you come across as you glide through your day on the wave of this energy.
Simply holding this vibe,
This frequency in all of its delicate power with you as you move forward,
Staying conscious of it and coming back to it when you drift from that energy of love and presence.
Staying with it one moment at a time as you slowly open your eyes,
If they were closed,
You could warm up slow and steady,
Enjoying that flow of energy and love.
