If you're in a safe place to do so right now,
Just close your eyes and notice how there's a buzzing in your fingertips.
Literally notice there's like a tingling sensation in your fingertips right now,
And if you close your eyes you'll notice it's easier to tune into them.
And if you feel that sensation,
You'll notice it's getting stronger the more you pay attention to it.
And you don't have to think about that,
You can just notice it.
Notice how you're noticing without thinking,
And just noticing the buzzing sensation in your fingertips without thinking makes it stronger and more alive.
And that's actually happening all the time in your body,
That subtle aliveness,
And you can notice it in the palms of your hands as you move your attention like a spotlight to the palms of the hands.
Is there a subtly different quality to the vibration in the palms of your hands?
What about into the arms as you allow yourself to travel in reverse,
Almost like you're defying gravity and going up into the arms?
Is it pumping of the blood?
Is it tingling?
Does it matter?
Just notice as you feel the sensation all the way up to the crest of your shoulders.
Just notice how that subtle aliveness permeates up through the neck,
And feel the jaw loosening as you breathe into the face and imagine the little muscles around your eyes softening.
Notice the patterns of light happening behind your eyes,
And notice a big empty space behind your eyes,
And imagine that big empty space opening up like a flower blooming up through the top of your head.
And take a deep breath into the top of the head and feel that energy washing down your spine all the way to the base of your sit bones,
And feel that energy traveling down into the legs and feet.
Notice the aliveness happening like a river of vibrating energy in real time in the legs and feet.
Notice the musculature,
The tingling,
The aliveness as you breathe into the legs and feet and become them with your mind,
Like you're absorbing your full attention into the legs and feet.
And notice what happens as the belly expands and the breath drops in,
And the breath becomes deeper and slower without even trying,
Just allowing it to fill up the belly and drop down into the lower belly and happen a little bit slower than it was happening.
And with each breath happening a little bit slower and the breath expanding a little bit more,
Just notice how you can drop into your body and occupy it with your entire consciousness.
Feeling this glittering aliveness tingling from head to toe as you just breathe and flow like a subtle wave of energy going to and fro.
Feel the wave of energy go down with the breath,
Feel it come back up,
Feel it amplify your life energy like it's pumping you up and relaxing you at the same time,
Down and back up.
Feel your conscious awareness expand past yourself if you can in a natural and effortless way just by feeling the space around your body.
And as you breathe,
Feel your awareness pulsate and expand a little bit further out into space,
Feeling one or two feet further out as you inhale,
Filling up your body with that energy and then allow it to expand and ripple out with the breath a little further,
Totally effortlessly.
Allow that expansion to become exponential now and as you breathe,
Imagine it going ten feet out and then your awareness expanding a hundred feet with the next breath.
And so on and so forth in exponential fashion as you tune into that effortless expansion.
And with one more deep powerful breath on the next exhalation,
Imagine your awareness going out infinitely into space,
Reaching in every direction simultaneously in a pleasant energetic stretch of your consciousness.
And feel all your muscles relax and sink into that space and merge with it like you're becoming one with the space,
Like you're in a pool of pleasant energy and there's nothing separating you from that ocean of buzzing aliveness all around.
Let your mind and body simmer and merge into a space of total stillness,
Silence and peace in this moment without trying at all.
If it feels good to you,
Let your body merge into the bigger body of energy all around,
But keep your mind alert and calm as you simply be this expansive space with a restful attention and blissful awareness.
Allow yourself to recharge in this moment on the deepest levels and layers of your being without even trying,
Just resting in that recharging space for another few timeless moments.
And I invite you to visualize yourself carrying this restful alert awareness and peaceful energy back into your day.
