Hawkins in the book "Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender" will help you feel, process and release negative energy or anything bothering you. The more you practice this technique (ideally on a proactive, daily basis), the more you will find yourself in a state of lightness, effortless and flow.

Hey,

It's Cyrus.

Welcome to this short version of the Letting Go Technique as described by Dr.

David Hawkins.

This is a simple,

Super effective technique to feel,

Process,

And release any suppressed emotion and shift your perception on anything that might be bothering you.

This is not a substitute for professional help,

So if you need it,

Seek it,

And be sure to use this only on feelings and emotions that feel manageable to you in the moment.

Use this to feel through feelings and emotions of a relatively small magnitude,

And feel free to use the longer magical technique track on my page if you want a little more time and space to flow through things.

Without further ado,

Take a moment to get comfortable sitting upright in a chair.

Notice what you see in your surroundings and what you hear,

Grounding yourself in the safety of the moment.

And once you've done that,

Find a comfortable position.

You can do this eyes open on a spot in front of you,

Or closed.

Whatever feels intuitive to you,

Remembering you can always open or close your eyes at any point if needed.

Now become aware of the feeling or emotion that you wish to process and hopefully release some of.

And as you become aware,

If you feel safe to do so,

Allow the energy of the feeling to rise to the surface of the body.

Don't push it down.

You might notice some resistance to it coming up,

And if you feel safe to do so,

Don't resist the resistance,

Just allow it to be as it is,

To let go of it,

So that the feeling itself can start to rise to the surface,

Reminding yourself that you are safe and in control,

And choosing to bring it up,

So it can start to clear out.

And as it rises up,

Notice where you feel it in your body.

Notice what the sensations feel like.

And take a moment to acknowledge the feeling honestly and non-judgmentally.

For example,

You could say,

I notice that part of me is feeling fear.

Or you could say,

I feel sadness.

Whatever it is you feel,

Just taking a moment to acknowledge it,

Honestly and non-judgmentally.

And now that you've done that,

From this point onward,

Ignore the thoughts and focus on the feeling.

That's the key.

Keep ignoring the thoughts as they arise,

And keep refocusing on the sensations of energy in the body.

Placing all of your attention now on the sensations themselves.

Imagine all the thoughts fading into the background,

And dissolving your whole mind,

Your entire focus,

Directly onto the sensations of the feeling.

And now shift into allowing mode.

Don't try to resist,

Change,

Or escape the feeling.

Just allow it to be as it is.

Maybe even welcome more of it,

If you feel safe to do so.

So that now you're fully allowing it to flow through,

Ignoring the thoughts,

And watching the sensations unfold.

Notice any part of you that's still trying to control the feeling.

And whatever you feel able to let go of,

Release control.

Relax into it,

And allow the sensations to flow as they naturally do,

As you simply step back and watch directly.

Imagine and feel a space opening up around the feeling.

And feel yourself relaxing into that space completely.

Allowing everything to be as it is.

And now invite yourself to surrender and let go of the feeling.

Don't think about how to do this.

Just remind yourself that it's safe to let go of the feeling.

And imagine and feel yourself surrendering it,

Handing it over to a greater energy of your understanding.

Don't try to contain the feeling within yourself any longer.

Simply allow yourself to open up,

To release,

To allow the energy to lift and evaporate.

Don't think about it.

Simply breathe and allow it to flow up and out and through.

And in the space that you've opened up,

Start to invite in positive feelings of love,

Peace,

Spacious relaxation,

And lightness.

Don't think,

Just feel yourself harmonizing with these positive energies.

Breathing them in and allowing them to reverberate through every cell of your body.

If any of the previous energy is still lingering,

Feel free to stay in a state of surrender and observation even longer and it may still lift.

If not at any point you need to or want to,

Simply take a deep breath or two,

Shift your attention to something neutral or positive,

And simply trust and give yourself credit for having released a big chunk of that energy either way.

You can always come back and release more of that feeling when you feel ready.

Feel free to open your eyes and move intuitively at your own pace.

Remember to practice this proactively and whenever you notice an emotion come up,

In order to clear out more and more negative emotional energy,

So that internal tank of energy gets more decompressed over time,

And you'll start to feel lighter and more effortless.

Thank you for this gem, I found the technique and the way you guide me through it hugely beneficial. I seemed to somehow access my vagus nerve through this meditation; huge yawns, tears and a runny nose. The tears were not weeping btw. Perhaps just a release of tension?
