Welcome to this deep dreamless sleep meditation to give you the deepest rest of your life and have you wake up feeling like the night's sleep went by in the blink of an eye.
Start off by getting comfortable in your place of rest,
Eliminating any distractions,
And finding a physical position that feels super easy and comfortable to you.
Once you've found that,
Inhale deeply and slowly all the way down into your belly.
As the belly rises,
Allow the breath to travel back up and fall out effortlessly through the mouth.
Take another deep breath and breathe all the way down to your knees.
As the breath rolls back up,
Allow your muscles to relax a little bit deeper.
Now take the slowest,
Deepest breath all the way down to the soles of your feet and allow it to wash back up at whatever pace feels relaxing and smooth.
Start to feel your mind clearing and dissolving like an hourglass down into your body.
The sands of your thoughts being dissolved and swallowed up by the sensations in your body that you're starting to notice circulating with the breath.
Feel yourself shifting away from the task-oriented mode of the day and into the simple being mode where you don't have to do anything and you can just give yourself permission to be as you are.
Don't try to change anything.
Don't try to change your mind or how you feel or anything in your environment.
Just allow yourself to ease into the deep ocean of allowing things and the moment to be exactly as it is.
All the rough edges of the moment becoming softer and smoother as the breath comes to you more effortlessly now.
Feel yourself listening to the sounds in the room,
Drinking them in through your ears,
Easily receiving the soothing sonic waves.
And now shift your attention like a spotlight in a rhythm and if thoughts arise,
Just allow them to dissolve back into the rhythm of the spotlight scan.
As you shift your attention to your knees,
Feeling the energy and blood flow in your knees dropping down to your ankles and the tips of your big toes,
Feel your second toes and your third toes moving like the keys on a piano to your fourth toes and your little toes.
Feel the tips of your pinky fingers and your ring fingers,
Middle fingers,
Index fingers and the tips of your thumbs.
Feel your wrists,
Your elbows,
Your shoulder joints and your hips wrapping around to the lower back and feel the point of contact with your lower back touching the support,
Feeling the entire back up and down,
Cradled by the surface underneath you,
Feeling it soften and relax deeper.
Relax your neck and your head into the support so that it sinks smoothly and pleasantly into the support.
Feel your heels and your calves and your hamstrings resting,
Releasing,
Dropping into the softness underneath you.
Feel the entire back of your body becoming as soft as the softest pillow as it releases and sinks into the support.
Feel the top of your body opening,
Starting with the face,
Feeling the little muscles around the eyes softening and opening.
Feel the nostrils opening and receiving the smooth flow of breath as it flows to and fro like the waves of the ocean.
Feel the jaw relaxing and the energy of the face opening.
Feel the front of the neck softening and relaxing.
Feel the heart area as the breath opens the muscles of the chest,
The spindles unwinding,
Unraveling into pure softness.
And like a ball of light is dropping down,
Feel the solar plexus and upper belly opening with the breath,
With your intentional attention.
Feel the ball of light drop down to the center of your belly.
Feel your belly button and feel the breath opening the energy in that area.
Feel the ball of energy drop down into the lower belly and feel the breath cascading down and opening the energy in the lower belly.
Feel the tops of your legs and feet opening towards the sky as though a shaft of light is flowing through and out of them.
Feel the openness of the entire front of your body and the softness of the entire back of your body existing simultaneously in an effortless rhythm with the flow of the breath.
Let the breath come as slowly as it naturally does to you now.
Allow it to take its time and feel effortless and watch it as it washes down like the tide to the tips of the toes and back up.
Track it with a gentle,
Dedicated attention down and back up as slowly as it naturally comes to you.
Stay dedicated to being immersed and absorbed with your attention in the flow of subtle energy traveling down and back up with the breath,
Staying with it as though nothing else mattered in the world.
Going deeper into the flow of the details of the subtle energy that travels down and back up with the breath,
Really starting to enjoy the simple rhythm of breath as it flows to you.
And now allow yourself to let go of some awareness of the breath and just allow it to flow automatically in the background and as it flows to you however it does,
Simply start to pay attention to the effervescent buzz of energy that you've cultivated in your body head to toe or wherever it feels right to pay attention.
Just allowing yourself to be as you are with an awareness of that pleasant bodily buzz,
Resting in that.
And now envision as though you're entering into a deep and perhaps dreamless sleep where you're just resting so deeply that you can just be in this space of stillness and deep complete rest.
Visualize and enjoy that feeling,
Allowing yourself to lose track of time and space and simply drift into a deep effortless sleep if you choose to.
