This will make you calmer and more relaxed than you can even imagine.
So if you want to feel super chill and release layers of tension that you didn't even know were there,
Just go ahead and close your eyes.
Allow your body to fall and hang into a relaxed position.
Let your limbs be positioned as loosely as they naturally,
Comfortably want to be.
And with the eyes closed and the body chilling out,
Just notice any tension behind the eyes.
Observe without judgment and just allow the patterns of light to play upon the eyelids in a soothing way as you allow that tension behind the eyes to unwind and soften,
Feeling the eyelids become soft and effortless.
Notice now the subtle,
Buzzing,
Tingling in your fingertips.
Allow that subtle,
Buzzing,
Tingling sensation at the tips of the fingers to soothe you as you place your attention on them.
Notice how as you begin to relax and drop into the moment,
You might notice that sensation at the surface of your skin.
Wherever you notice in your body that sensation of subtle goosebumps or tingling,
That subtle relaxation and aliveness at the surface of your skin.
And allow that sensation to pleasantly wash over you and bring you into the endless pleasant potential of the now moment.
And notice where in your body you're holding pressure or tension,
However subtle it might be.
Notice without judgment,
Just locate with a gentle attention like you're searching with candlelight instead of a flashlight and allow it to be there for a moment,
That pressure or tension,
Observe it without trying to change it by the gentle candlelight that you hold.
And if it feels safe,
Allow that tension to begin to soften,
To evaporate,
To escape out of the hatch of your body,
Up out through your head and into the ocean of vibrating space around you that it can dissolve into easily.
Look for any subtle layer within you that's still trying to control your experience in this moment.
And if it feels safe,
Just let that sense of control open and soften a little bit.
Allow that internal sense of surrender to open you to the moment and the subtle current of energy that flows through your body.
And pay attention to your feet.
Notice any knots,
Any pressure,
Any tension in the feet and imagine them melting,
Releasing.
Roll gently and delicately up to the calf muscles with your mind's eye and imagine the calf muscles just hanging out,
Releasing.
Feel your thighs and imagine them releasing into the support underneath you.
Notice the pelvic floor and allow any tension to release.
Travel up the back and the spine,
Feeling that gentle tingle of attention washing through the architecture of the back and imagine it expanding and contracting with the breath and opening in this moment with each breath at the rhythm that it comes to you.
Inquire into your stomach area with your attention and imagine space opening up inside the stomach and belly area.
Imagine like you have more breathing room,
Literally,
In the muscles and tissues of your belly and gently make your way up to the heart and chest area and imagine it like a flower that's blooming in slow motion with the breath as it flows slowly.
Let the attention wash into your shoulders,
Down through the joints,
Into the arms,
Into the hands,
Into the fingers and feel the super high waves of energy rippling up and down the arms and hands and imagine yourself giving them permission to go on standby,
The hands and arms releasing into intentional idleness,
Doing nothing on purpose with the arms and hands.
Notice the neck,
Tune into any effort that you've exerted to speak recently that might be felt or sensed in the neck or maybe you notice a feeling of holding back your voice.
Whatever you detect,
Observe without analysis,
Simply sense the sensations in the neck with a gentle curiosity and allow the neck to find its balance like a body part heals itself.
Allow the neck and vocal center to balance itself as you simply place your attention and intention to allow it to find its space as you breathe and bloom once more at that spot.
Notice the lips,
The jaw,
Feel any tension melting away and notice the space behind your eyes,
Imagine the space behind your eyes becoming empty,
Spacious,
Open.
Feel all the lobes of your brain becoming relaxed,
Feel them emitting a slow effortless wave and signal that can soak up the moment with an awareness of the thickness of details,
Of the richness of sensations,
Of the subtle storm of sounds that surround you in this moment,
Washing through your nervous system like a slow wave,
Receiving the soothing tones of this moment,
The slow and subtle rhythm of the moment that unfolds when you tune your attention into the spaciousness and depth of here and now.
Feel your whole body head to toe at the same time with an effortless open attention,
Noticing all the subtle buzz and tingles washing through the body head to toe,
Their subtle energy becoming stronger the more relaxed you become,
The more deeply you enter the moment.
Start to be aware of the space around you and be aware how it's made up of the same vibrating energy as your body and don't think but just sense that subtle vibration that surrounds you.
Feel yourself floating in that space,
Almost weightlessly,
Pleasantly,
Safely,
In that deeply relaxing space.
If it feels safe to you,
Imagine your body turning from physical matter into pure vibration now.
Feel the space between the cells of your body opening up,
Becoming more and more pure vibration with every breath,
Becoming lighter and lighter and easier to completely release and relax.
And in this space of lightness and flow,
Give yourself permission to simply float and be aware and enjoy the quietly blissful good vibes of this space that you've cultivated.
Just witness whatever arises in this space and then let it go so that you can rest and steep and marinate in the depths of the relaxation and presence you've created for a few timeless moments now.
And take as much time as you feel like you'd benefit from to continue to rest and enjoy the relaxation of this space.
And perhaps take a moment to visualize yourself carrying this deeply relaxed present baseline back with you into your day,
Seeing and feeling what it's like to move through your day with this deeply grounded energy.
And only when you feel ready,
Allow yourself to open your eyes and come back at your own pace.
