Welcome,
Settle yourself into the here and now,
There is nothing you need to change,
Nothing you need to fix,
Simply allow your body to arrive.
Take a slowed breath in through your nose,
And let it go gently out through your mouth,
Fully,
Deeply,
Again in through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
As you breathe,
Notice where your body is holding itself tight,
You don't need to analyze it,
Just notice.
Now,
Allow your breath to deepen slightly,
Not forcefully,
Just more fully.
Inhale,
And as you exhale,
Imagine your breath traveling downward from your chest,
Into your Let gravity help you.
One more breath like that.
Anger often appears when something inside you has been ignored for too long,
When your boundaries were crossed,
When your truth was silenced,
When your body was expected to keep giving,
Without being listened to.
There is nothing wrong with this anger,
It's information,
It's energy,
It's a signal,
Not a flaw.
You don't need to push it away,
Instead,
Bring your awareness gently to that place where you feel it most.
Perhaps it lives in your chest,
Your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your belly.
Just notice.
Now,
Imagine your breath flowing into that place,
Not to calm it yet,
Just to acknowledge it.
Inhale,
And say silently,
I see you.
Exhale,
And say,
You don't have to shout anymore.
Very gently now,
Imagine a warm,
Steady weight,
Like a smooth stone warmed by the sun,
Settling into your lower belly.
This is your center,
Your ground,
Your core.
With every breath out,
That heat of anger begins to descend,
Moonward,
Out of your chest,
Out of your throat,
Down into your chest,
Not disappearing,
Transforming.
Anger that stays trapped burns,
Anger that moves becomes strength.
Notice how your shoulders soften just a little,
Your jaw unclenches,
Your breath slows.
You are not losing your power,
You are reclaiming it.
Now,
Imagine the anger reshaping itself.
No longer sharp,
No longer explosive,
But solid,
Clear,
Rooted.
You feel steady now,
Present,
Unshaken.
From this place,
You no longer react,
You respond.
From this place,
Your no is clean,
Your yes is true,
Your energy is conserved.
Silently,
Let these words settle inside you.
I am allowed to take up space,
I am allowed to change,
My body is wise even now,
Especially now.
Take another slow breath in and feel your feet,
Your legs,
Your pelvis,
Heavy.
Your anger has done its job,
It delivered the message.
And now,
Stay here for a few breaths longer,
Letting this new state anchor itself into your nervous system,
Your muscles,
And your cells.
There is nothing you need to do next,
Just be.
