Welcome to this practice where we shall relax,
Let go of worry and invite a sense of freedom into our body,
Mind and heart.
So beginning by closing down your eyes and taking a moment to allow your awareness to shift from the external world to your inner world.
Letting your awareness to fall onto your breath.
No need to change your breath in any way.
If thoughts come,
Offer them a smile and return to the natural flow of your breath.
Nothing to do,
Nothing to be,
Simply noticing.
Which part of your breath is capturing your curiosity?
How does connecting with your breath make you feel?
Seeing the gentle rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.
Seeing the soft expanse of your belly as the air moves in and out.
Your breath showing you the way home.
With each breath sinking a little deeper.
Arriving into your inner world a little more.
Feeling a softening across your eyes,
Across your jaw.
Feeling the inside of your mouth.
Feeling your entire face to feel soft and at ease.
Feeling go of any mask you may wear in the external world.
Feeling safe just to be as you are today.
Feeling soft,
Gentle,
Shoulders dropping a little,
Melting even like ice to water.
And open and soft.
Taking a deep breath all the way into your stomach.
Softening on the exhale.
A sense of relaxation moving down your legs.
To your feet and ten toes.
A sense of relaxation moving down your arms,
To your hands and ten fingers.
Testing here in this felt sense of relaxation that you have created within you.
If thoughts come offer them a smile and return your awareness once more to your breath.
Just gentle ebb and flow.
Your body breathing on its own.
And now directing your breath into your heart or the centre of your chest.
No right or wrong here.
Simply imagining each breath moving down your throat,
Into your lungs and arriving at your heart or the centre of your chest.
Breathing into your heart.
Breathing out of your heart.
Noticing any sense of warmth or ease.
Noticing any sense of peace or connection.
Noticing any sense of being curious.
From here simply asking your heart what is one worry,
Thought or belief that I need to let go of today in order to live more freely.
Being open to any thoughts,
Feelings or sensations that emerge within you.
Breathing into this act of noticing.
And as you exhale letting go of this worry,
Thought or belief.
With each exhale letting go a little more.
Noticing any sense of spaciousness or ease that has emerged from within this act of letting go.
From within this space you have created asking your heart what do I need more of in my life in order to feel more happy and free.
Being open to any thoughts,
Feelings or sensations that emerge.
Breathing whatever emerges deep into your heart.
Noticing any sense of warmth or openness.
Testing here in this sense of freedom and possibility.
Setting yourself an intention now for how you would like to show up in the world.
Planting this intention deep in your heart with one grateful breath.
When you are ready opening your eyes to the space you are in.
May you move through your days with a greater sense of freedom and possibility.
