This can be used at any time of day or night for a nap or as a way to destress. Our meditations are best enjoyed with headphones.

Okay,

Let's get grounded.

Start by getting into the most comfortable position for you,

Either sitting or lying down.

As you move around,

Settling into the position you choose,

Be mindful of the surface below you and how it's holding you.

Take a deep breath in as you're relaxing into your final position,

Trusting with all your heart how supported you are.

Breathe out as you let go of all the tension in your body melting into the surface below you.

Visualize your point of contact with the surface beneath you and how that feels.

Does it feel heavy?

Do you feel any vibrations in your body where it connects to the surface?

Be aware of any sensations such as sound or the clothes touching your skin.

Allow yourself to simply exist in this moment.

Just be.

During this meditation,

I will take you on a journey which will leave you feeling grounded,

Supported,

And connected to yourself and at ease to move through your day with confidence,

Letting go of any of those self-doubts you may have coming into this meditation.

But first,

We need to disconnect so that we can reconnect.

I will lead you through a grounding breathing technique,

Then we will head into a guided visualization to fully disconnect from all the stresses around you.

Before you begin,

Please listen to the following instructions.

You will start by expressing all the air out of your body through your mouth,

And once that is done,

You'll breathe in through your nose slowly and controlled to the count of five.

At the top,

You will hold for two,

Then breathe out through a pursed mouth slowly and controlled to the count of five.

We will repeat this three times.

Now we will begin.

Expel all of the air out of your body through your mouth.

Breathe in two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Hold for two seconds.

Breathe out through your mouth.

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Breathe in four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Hold for two at the top.

Breathe out through your mouth.

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Breathe in two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Hold.

Breathe out two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

One more round.

Breathe in two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Hold.

Breathe out two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Now breathe without forcing anything.

Just breathe with ease.

Start to notice the sound of birds softly chirping in the distance.

Feel the soft touch of a summer's breeze softly touching your skin.

In your mind's eye,

Slowly open your eyes and notice a tall,

Wispy tree above you.

You are laying under this tree.

See the wind blowing curiously through the leaves.

Bring your attention back to the surface below you.

It feels soft,

Cool,

Yet comfortable.

You're laying on top of green moss,

Which is all around below the tree.

You can feel some of the roots beneath the moss connecting to your body.

Feel the energy off the tree's roots flowing into your body and nourishing you with the earth's life-giving nutrients.

As you breathe in the roots energy,

You can feel the magnetic pull that the tree has with its connection to the ground.

Just like a tree,

You also need to find ways to nourish your mind,

Body,

And soul to keep you connected,

Grounded,

And flowing with the ever-changing world around you.

Just as a tree needs nutrients from the soil and its surrounding,

You need to find ways to connect to this nourishment.

We are more connected than we know to the earth's surface.

Take a deep breath in and bring your awareness back to the surface below you.

Remember how supported you are.

In your mind,

Repeat to yourself,

I am safe.

The nutrients from the soil and roots are giving you life,

Feeding your soul.

Stay here for the next five minutes on your own and absorb the energy from the earth's surface.

Breathe in and out.

Imagine the energy from the roots and moss below you as colors transferring from the earth throughout your body.

And listen to the sounds of nature around you.

Just be.

When you hear the soft sound of this bell,

It will be time to come back into your body.

When you hear the rumbling of the earth,

It will be reason to wake the world and you you you you you you it's now time to come back into your body fully rejuvenated from the earth's energy flowing throughout you begin to hear the sound of the room that you are in slowly start to move your fingers and toes rock your head back and forth ever so gently feeling the surface below you as you come back into your body fully repeat these words to yourself I am protected I am the only one who is here I am protected I am grounded I am safe when you are ready gently open your eyes and slowly go about your day you you you you you you you you you
