Good morning,

Welcome to your 5 minute morning meditation.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position,

Either on a cushion or a chair.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,

Allowing your body to relax and your mind to settle.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Bring your attention to this present moment.

Feel the sensation of your breath entering and leaving your body.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest or the feeling of the air passing through your nostrils.

Bring awareness to your body,

Starting from the top of your head.

Slowly scan down to your toes,

Observing any sensations or areas of tension.

Send a wave of relaxation through each part of your body,

Releasing any tension or tightness that you may be holding.

Next shift your focus to gratitude.

Take a moment to think about three things that you are grateful for in your life.

They can be big or small,

Simple or profound.

Allow yourself to truly feel the gratitude for each of these blessings.

Bring your attention back to your breath.

Notice the rhythm and sensation of each inhale and exhale.

As thoughts or distractions arise,

Gently acknowledge them without judgment,

And then gently bring your attention back to your breath.

Take a moment here and set an intention for the day ahead.

What qualities or mindset would you like to cultivate?

It could be something like patience,

Compassion,

Or presence.

Repeat this intention in your mind,

Allowing it to sink in on a deep level.

Meditate on this for a few deep breaths in and out.

Finally,

Take one last deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Slowly open your eyes.

Take a moment to observe any shifts or sensations in your mind and body.

Congratulations,

You've completed your 5-minute morning meditation.

May you carry the sense of calm,

Gratitude,

And intention with you throughout the day.

Have a wonderful day.
